Rustic lodging and setting. Clean, well-kept, good kitchen amenities. A bit difficult to find if you're following a GPS and arriving after dark.

Charming Cabin in the Woods

My best friend and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and found the cabin to be very clean and smelled great. The booking and check in process was seamless. It was a great experience, so quiet and quaint. A great relaxing get-a-way. We really enjoyed the natural lighting provided by the two sky lights in the kitchen/dining area. The main bedrooms are upstairs which might be helpful to note on the listing. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness, broken doorknob.

The refrigerator drawers were filthy. There was partially consumed food on the door shelves and food in the freezer. There was mouse poop in the utensil drawers in the kitchen and I had to rewash most of the dishes to use as they had dried food on them. The doorknob to the patio door was broken but my husband and son-in-law tried to put it back on. The bathrooms were clean which was nice but for $400 a night I expected it all to be clean. The fireplace did not work AT ALL in the living room. Stop advertising that feature if you cannot provide it. I loved the area but I would not recommend this place at all.

Penn State Football Weekend Number 2

Our second time at this property and we love being here. We have been tempted to not go to the game so that we can spend more time enjoying the property! The owners are very responsive and attentive. This is a great getaway location!

This property is in a secluded rural setting which was perfect for us! An historic cabin yet with enough modern amenities to make the trip comfortable and easy. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
