We really had high expectations for this hotel as we’ve wanted to come forever I think the location, the rooms, the service was all great (thanks Ken for the great send off at 6am— washed our car windows and found us 2 cups of coffee to go!!) I just think time of year here is a big deal. Was cold with snow on the ground so we didn’t hike, balloon, raft, etc. will come back. a pricey place but I think better in spring, summer and fall

Well…. I really want to love it because the location is great and the property is older but well maintained with nice art and lovely common areas. But the staff is just not up to par. They do try hard, but they just can’t do it. It’s just not a 5 star property. The prices are very high without service to match.

The hotel property is not big but the vibe is great, very comfortable and cozy. The housekeeping staffs pay attention to details to make sure the room is up standard and organized at all time while you’re away. The bed runner (which I usually pay less attention on) is so good looking, fitting the culture of this town perfectly.

Very close to the downtown area, fireplace in the room and overall hotel attention to detail were the key positives. However, the significant decrease in daily rate from when originally booked two months earlier and the room not fully reflective of that described in the itinerary, detracted from the overall experience and I would not return or recommend.
