Spectacular views of the Monterey Bay and your own private boardwalk to the beach are among the very special features of this home in a gated community near the quaint fishing village of Moss Landing.
The 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo features décor with a modern coastal vibe that fits perfectly into this setting, with a back patio looking out upon the bay, where you can watch dolphins, whales and seagulls over the private beach and protected sand dune habitat.
Ocean views from the main bedroom suite, living room and dining room let guests enjoy twinkling lights at night and the entire bay by day. Vaulted ceilings, large windows and outdoor seating areas at the front and back of the home let indoors and out flow together seamlessly.
Part of the Monterey Dunes Colony, the 1700-square-foot condo is situated at the midpoint of the bay, with easy access to attractions on the Monterey Peninsula and in the Santa Cruz area.
The complex is next to Salinas River State Beach, a favorite spot to walk, bird watch and take photos. Monterey and Santa Cruz are within a half hour’s drive, and just a bit further are the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach, the natural wonders of Big Sur, and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.
Living Spaces Guests enter through the private, gated courtyard which includes a gourmet gas grill, patio seating and a sheltered porch with a tall counter and seats, an ideal gathering place for family and friends either for afternoon barbecues or evening socializing. The entryway leads to a living room, kitchen and dining area in an open floor plan, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking toward the bay and hardwood-look floors. The living room includes a wood-burning brick fireplace and a comfortable sectional sofa, a perfect place for conversation, watching the 50-inch HDTV or reading a good book by the fire.
Kitchen and Dining The adjacent dining room has seating for 6 at the table with several more seats available at the kitchen counter. The kitchen includes newer stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space.
Also on this level is a dedicated laundry room with ample storage space and a washer and dryer.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms Two bedrooms can be found on the upper level. Bedroom #1 faces the bay, with views to enjoy from the spacious California King bed with luxury linens in tones of blue, aqua, white and sand. Also featured are a 42-inch HDTV and upholstered chair, as well as an en suite bath with a large shower with grab bars. Please note that this bedroom has a loft-style layout and is open to the lower level. Bedroom #2 offers a California King bed and an en suite bath with a tub/shower combo and removable shower head. Downstairs, Bedroom #3 has two full/double size beds, a 30-inch HDTV, two leather club chairs and local ocean artwork. The downstairs full bath with a tub/shower combo and removable shower head is accessible from the hallway.
Several parking spots are available adjacent to the condo’s courtyard entrance and one small space in the garage.
