Experience the authentic character of Corsica. Ideally located in Montemaggiore, typical village of Balagne between Calvi and Lumio, the "Casa Matéo" enjoys an exceptional setting opening on a magnificent panorama maquis and Corsican mountains, There is no sea view from the house.
Completely restored the main building and its small sheepfold are a subtle blend of traditional and contemporary design.

Ground floor :
a large living room of 55 m2 facing south, panoramic view, comprising a lounge / dining room, an open kitchen, 1 WC
Upstairs :
two bedrooms (25 m2 and 14 m2 facing south, panoramic view), 1 bathroom / walk-in shower, 1 WC

For the comfort of our guests the house is fully air conditioned and equipped with WIFI

Landscaped garden with swimming pool (5m x 2.5m) secured by standard tarpaulin.
Heated pool: 1 March to 15 May and from 15 September to 30 October. Possible dates (extra € 120 / week.)

On the practical side 3 minutes:
Bakery (possibility daily delivery of fresh bread and pastries on request), shop, 3 restaurants, 2 bars to enjoy your holiday.

At only 12 minutes, the beaches of blond sand await you in dream frames to invite you to laze in the sun, you will be delighted to discover between the rocks small coves with crystal clear waters.
You can also explore the many Corsican landscapes and traditions outside the box. Many outdoor getaways are possible from the house on foot or vélo..et remember outings forest Bonifato and baignages in mountain torrents (30 minutes by car from the house)
Close to Calvi, amateur activities, festivals, atmosphere and of venues will be deceived.

Visit to Corsica

Family of four adults staying at this superb property. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Views over the valley are spectacular. Pool was great and the living room aircon was welcome on the odd day although the house is pleasantly cool anyway. Great time had by all.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft!! Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr großzügig! Die Beiden Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß sind groß und haben einen tollen Blick auf den Montegrosso. Das kleine Nebenschlafzimmer war für unseren Sohn und Freundin der ideale Rückzugsort. Der Pool ist ausreichen und mit super Blick! Der Ausblick auf den Berg war wirklich einmalig! In der Küche ist alles da was man braucht und auch die Plancha funktioniert Prima. Für das Auto gibt es einen Parkplatz. Man sollte Französisch sprechende die Haushälterin leider gar kein Englisch spricht. Absolute Empfehlung von uns!!

Super à découvrir!

Vila très sympathique avec vue magnifiques sur le montagnes. Pas en 1ere ligne face à la mer mais ça vaut la peine si on cherche du calme loin de la foule.Il y a qq plages entre L île Rousse et Calvi qui sont paradisiaques Très recommandé

Merveilleux !

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable avec nos 3 enfants (4,10 et 13 ans) chez Christophe. Le logement est fabuleux, autant pour sa fonctionnalité que pour sa décoration et surtout pour sa vue à couper le souffle… Notre arrivée et notre départ se sont très bien passés grâce à Lorette… Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, cette semaine est passée bien trop vite ! Ferienhaus in romantischer Umgebung mit im frz. Höhendorf

Zusammen mit unseren 3 Kindern und den Schwiegereltern hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus. Besonders genossen haben wir den herrlichen Ausblick auf die Berge direkt von der Terrasse und dem Pool. Der Pool war groß genug zum Abkühlen, jedoch zum sportlichen Schwimmen eher ungeeignet. Besonders gut, das separate Schlafzimmer im Anbau mit eigenem Bad und WC. Wer ins korsische Leben unmittelbar in Ruhe und mit tollem Ausblick eintauchen will ist hier genau richtig.

Incroyable

Une magnifique maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût, facile à vivre et une vue à couper le souffle. L'accueil de Lorette était vraiment très sympa, un vrai personnage ! Parfait !

La bergerie est très agréable, bien équipée et très bien située. La vue est splendide et le calme absolu. Et le village est magnifique. Tout est réuni pour un séjour parfait dans cette superbe région qu’est la Balagne.

La casa Mateo est un lieu original, accueillant, joliment decoré et bien équipé. La vue de la maison sur les montagnes est époustouflante et le silence divin malgre l emplacement en plein centre du village. Christophe est un hôte très a l'écoute. Lorretta qui gere la location est très accueillante avec des conseils avises pour decouvrir les environs et la gastronomie locale. Un pt plus a ne pas rater - le restaurant Altezza a qqs pas de la maison ou l on peut admirer un coucher de soleil sur la côte. Un de nos plus beaux sejours depuis 20 ans.

Die Lage und das Panorama des Hauses sind atemberaubend. Das Ferienhaus selbst ist sehr gut aufgeteilt und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir waren sechs Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind bestens ausgestattet, ebenso die Küche. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen.

Maison très agréable à vivre, très propre, conformable, lumineuse, au calme et offrant une magnifique vue sur les villages alentours et le Monte Grosso. Le village est fort agréable (notamment pour les petites balades le soir) et très facile d'accès depuis Calvi. Piscine très appréciée par toute la famille. Accueil chaleureux de Lorette. De toutes les locations que nous avons l'habitude de louer en Corse depuis plusieurs années maintenant, celle de Christophe est de loin la meilleure. Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique dans cette bergerie rénovée! Nous avons apprécié le calme du village, la beauté du paysage, le confort de la maison..etc Nous recommandons vivement cette location et ne manquerons pas d'y retourner!

Séjour parfait

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison en famille, avec un enfant de 2 ans. La maison est parfaite, le paysage est à couper le souffle, le village plein de charme et le calme est si apaisant. La maison est conforme à l’annonce et paraît même plus grande que sur les photos. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la Haute-Corse. Je remercie les hôtes pour l’accueil et le charme de leur maison. Notre fille ayant perdu la télécommande de la télévision, nous étions très embêtés et gênés mais nous avons pu trouver rapidement une solution avec les hôtes en toute courtoisie. Montemaggiore la belle !!!

Notre deuxième séjour à Montemaggiore nous a ravis. La bergerie est toujours aussi agréable, la vue magique.... Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et arrangeants en terme d'arrivée et de départ. Une seconde expérience très réussie. Allez y !!!!!!!!!
