I enjoyed my stay up until the last day of checking out. The receptionist named Jamar was very rude and inconsiderate. He told me there is a charge on my account for a bottle of wine that I did not order. He said there is nothing he could do and I can’t check out if I don’t pay for the bottle of alcohol. He refused to get a manager to help me and walked away after I told him I wouldn’t pay. I was late for my airport shuttle so my friend had to pay the charge for me. He then refused to give me the receipt I needed to board the shuttle to the airport. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and not sure I want to go back to this hotel.

We had pretty bad experience at this place. First and last time we were there. Service is 50/50, some people are good but some are very slow and they don't give a f@ck about you. Food: I didn't like it. Even in the restaurant that you had to book in advance food is not good. Most of the food was tasteless. Especially all starters and cold appetizers. They cook them all in advance and it's horrible. Sushi in the regular supermarket is way better than their sushi in restaurant. But main dishes were good. You can smoke only in the designated places even you are outside on the street. There is no beach!! The closest "beach" was 10 minutes walk from building 27. And no sand, sand is mixed with small stones. At the check out someone booked romantic dinner under my room number and they tried to get money from me. The lobby is an open air and there is a humidity and you are all Sweat, no AC. few days in the row they do some construction that was started around 7am and we couldn't sleep. But overall this hotel is OK. I wouldn't say it's luxury, regular rooms with regular furniture. TV in the room doesn't have original remote control so you can't use your Netflix or YouTube.

Quiet. However not pleased that although we pay more for upgrade to luxury side the nightly entertainment has been moved to the grand side which is a hassle to get to the other side conveniently. We pay for no children during entertainment and thus did not happen

The property is lovely. The front desk younger staff needs training. The room i did not get nothing that i paid for. I tried explaining to young lady at the front desk, but she showed no concern. Someone out of the 3 or 4 in and out my room, went in bag took $200. I will not be returning and i will not recommend Bahai.

I’ve stayed at a couple Bahia’s now and I cant say this was my favorite. But we still had a great time! Pros and cons below: Pros: the resort activities are always fun, most of the staff are AMAZING, the buffets were decent, the room service meals were incredible, pool bar is lovely, wonderful spa, lots of offered excursions, no public beach for people to harass you to buy stuff like a lot of other Caribbean resorts, free drinks/room fridge restocked daily Cons: the layout is super weird, you had to go through so many different buildings to get where you needed to go, it’s not very separated from the kids side (some buffets are shared, shows/excursions/spa shared too) so you’ll see them unless you don’t leave the adult side (hard when you want to eat and what not), pool closes at 7pm, it was never quiet for even an hour during the night - doors slamming, workers yelling, other guests yelling etc. (expected at adults only resort, just beware), if you book a certain room, it’s not actually guaranteed you’ll get the room even as VIP status, adults side pool is oddly separated by bridges so it’s like 3 separate pools vs one long one. Overall, a great stay and would be back with better insights next time. Bring a cup for pool drinks so you don’t have to go up as often and the workers always make your drinks/experience better when you tip them, even just a dollar for each drink. Enjoy Jamaica, it will be worth your while at the Bahia! “Volveré!”

The property was beautiful. Deck around pool extremely slippery several people fell who didnt wear deck shoes, but we read reviews and were fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful and super kind. We loved the quietness and availability of items due to low number of people. Do wish staff would have provided more of an overview of the resort and amenities at check in. Luxury side was totally worth it, despite not getting the rooms requested or dinners.

As a 5-day Birthday guest ; Room Upgrade, Luxury Guest Inclusions, Property Size, Pool Cleanliness, Resort View, Food & Restaurant Options, Daily Events, SPA Amenities & SPA Employees… 5 Stars. Everything else, to my opinion such as technical issues (elevator & room safe). Staff professionalism & attentiveness to detail (1st Day room check in & pool bartenders). Better communication upon check-out amongst front desk regarding documentations needed to confirm check out for shuttle & luggage accommodations as not to confuse guests… 3 Stars.
