Place was amazing, food was fantastic . Only thing to know, call ahead and schedule restaurants for your trip, they're booked out if you try when you get there. The adults beach was amazing, the grand side had tons of sea shells when snorkeling. I proposed on tge beach with dinner on the beach. The staff took over and made it memorable. We are already planning our next trip back

Overall I did not like the room very old needs update. A la carte restaurant can only be reserved for one day, not each day you are there in the resort. Not very clean the restaurant.

I enjoyed visiting Jamaica as that is my home country and I booked a stay as it was also to celebrate a family members birthday. I want to highlight most of the staff is pretty good and friendly especially with kids. We did have a nice welcome home sign on our room with a complementary champagne, which was much appreciated. I enjoyed NYAM setup of having the buffet style option. Some of the meals were good there. I also enjoyed the all white party on the beach for the kids and then for the adults. The pools were nice. What I didnt like was that the rooms made me physically sick as if there was mold or circulation issue. Most of my family felt as if they were getting sick each day after waking up. I also didnt like that the bathroom didn’t look like it was cleaned properly even after room service came. The biggest highlight of the trip that I really hated was that a younger family member experienced body shaming and sexual harassment by the staff and a male who identified himself to her as the manager who refused her entry to the NYAM buffet due to her shape in her clothes. She wore a dress with a slit at the side however none of her private areas were exposed in her dress but the manager specifically told her as a man he can see everything she has going on under her clothes. She did report this to the front desk but that wasn't a great experience at all for her or any of us to hear that she experienced that. I wouldn’t recommend due to that experience alone.

This was my first time in Jamaica and Bahia Principe did not disappoint. It was a beautiful property. There were some renovations going on while we were there, (the hotel is 17 years old and it looked like they were updating some things) however we noticed that they were very respectful of quiet hours and we experienced no issues. The staff was very accommodating and kind. While we enjoyed our time immensely I do have some suggestions. There were lots of entertainment and it was great. I do wish that there were more cultural choices with the entertainment unique to Jamaica. Such as the music. It was very westernized. I also wish there were more Jamaican culinary experiences. Other than the tropical fruit and seafood offerings the rest was all typical western cuisine and it wasn’t that great unfortunately. My best friend is Jamaican and I have a cousin through marriage who is Jamaican and I am keenly aware of how good the food is or can be. So I definitely wish they offered more of their own cuisine. One offering they did have was the oxtail and butter beans. That was fantastic. Overall- it was a great experience.

you are advertising a room that does not exist. we were a return customer. but im sorry to say we will not be returning after this experience. when you are expecting to have a room with beds for each guest and show up to a room with only 2 double beds and 2 guest need to share beds for 7 days that make for a bad experience.

Great time with the good folks at Bahia Runaway Bay. Good food, clean and comfortable (remodeled) rooms and great and friendly staff. Don’t pay attention to guests that find fault with this resort, no all inclusive property is perfect. Bahia does a great job - be back soon!
