"Stayed at the Belvedere for 2 nights while visiting Lago Maggiore. The hotel is facing the lake and we had a beautiful lake view room. It is also soooo conveniently located right across from where the ferry takes you to the various islands. My Italian cousin was impressed with my choice. The hotel breakfast was excellent and lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!"

"Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just more of a logistical element than an issue with the hotel. All in all, if I was to come back to the area I would definitely stay here again. "

"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. The place itself is extremely difficult to find and an explanation is not given. The owner(s) are not able to explain, so you have to ask locals (who often are foreigners themselves and therefore not familiar with the neighborhood) or finally the police. The apartment itself is great (!), the security doors are a bit (too) much but gives you a safe stay."
