Situated in a quiet enclave by the church of St Martin de Montbray, Maison Ruth is set beside a country lane and has private gardens and orchards.

Maison Ruth has been sympathetically restored to evoke the period it was built but has modern comforts.

The bathroom features an 18th Century footed copper bath.

The furniture is original antique and vintage and has been restored by us.

Beautiful character property

This is a beautiful, historical property with a lovely rear garden. Very peaceful except for an odd tractor going by. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding and drapes in each of the upstairs bedrooms were lovely. Excellent views of the countryside. We were able to visit the D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel easily. Thanks to Ed for the gift of homemade cider.

Exactement ma Normandie comme je la conçois.

Le propriétaire est un homme charmant, très avenant, serviable. La maison, tout a fait XIXeme siècle bourgeois, est charmante et bénéficie d'une vue panoramique sur les vallons coté sud et dégagée sur les trois autres facades. Le village-hameau situé dans le boccage profond est très calme, rythmé par le clocher de l'église située en son centre. Si vous aimez les vieilles maisons bourgeoises loin de tout, sans être trop éloignées, vous pouvez venir car vous serez ravis... Warmest regards to Ed. Groves

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Gegend

Das Haus hat den Charme des 18.Jahrhunderts bewahrt, dennoch bietet es die notwendigen Errungenschaften der Neuzeit. Man kann sich hier im Haus oder im großen Garten wunderbar erholen. Interessante Städte und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich mit dem Auto gut erreichen. Wir wurden mit frischen Backwaren und Lebensmittel wie Butter, Milch,Käse und paar Getränken empfangen. Das hat uns das Abendessen und sogar noch das Frühstück erleichtert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter klappte gut. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.
