You'll find this house is the perfect space for any large group gathering, multi families or teams looking for a space large enough to host and sleep everyone! We completely renovated in 2021 and supplied all new furnishing throughout the house. Your vacation house sits on 8 acres of beautiful Maine land off the shore of Conchnewagon lake and comes with enough space to have outdoor gatherings around the firepit, grill and patio during the summer and fall. The house has a completely separate apartment attached to the house that has year round renters; however, there are no shared inside spaces at all.

A great week at the Farmhouse
Our large family enjoyed getting together in this spacious house and exploring the area around Monmouth, as well as further afield. Lake Cochnewagon itself is beautiful. The property is clean and bright, with ample space for cooking and eating together, as well as playing together inside and out. The beds are all large (even the bunkbeds are doubles) and have very comfortable mattresses (a rarity in many rentals). There was plenty of room outside for volleyball and other games. We were able to put our kayaks in at the boat launch just up the road, and we swam at the Monmouth town beach as well as at some other local lakes. A highlight was a morning out on a pontoon boat on nearby Lake Cobbossee. We highly recommend the Monmouth Museum, which is a real gem with a terrific collection. The friendly docents there really bring history to life. Our large group, ranging in age from 16 to 77, had a memorable time together at the farmhouse. Carlie is extremely responsive and attentive. She even went out of her way to return something to us that we had left behind. Thanks Carlie!

Family reunion in maine
It was perfect plenty of room and 15 minutes from my cousin's home in Winthrop where the family reunion was.we had 7 adults and 8 children with us 16 months to 14 years old.30 people from my family stayed at hotels over 30 minutes from my cousins camp.i will definitely recommend this property for a big group.,it was so much better than staying in a hotel room!!

Beautiful and spacious
We loved our stay! The host was super responsive and helpful. The house was clean, the yard was well maintained, and the rooms are huge! Everything was as described. If you have a large group, this will definitely accommodate! The location was also convenient. We stayed just after the 4th of July, and I wanted to be fairly close to Lisbon and Augusta, so this was right in the middle and worked perfectly. Monmouth had a fantastic fireworks show right on the lake, and that was only 5 minutes away. Also recommend Fast Eddie's Drive In for a blast from the past with great food and ice cream. We definitely enjoyed our time here!
