Our host Jose was very accommodating given the last minute nature of this booking. Our planned SN de Pilar booking was cancelled by the host with just 48 hours notice.The location is rural but surprisingly convenient for trips to Granada. The bus stops on the main road at the end of the driveway. The beautiful Cahorros river walk can be done entirely on foot from the apartment.Monachil village (12 minute easy walk) has lots of nice restaurants.Rural means you could wake up to the sound of chainsaws, strimmers and other motorised equipment from neighboring farms,The kitchen is sparsely equipped, some items might be found in the outside in the shared cooking area with BBQ and pizza oven. (didn't use).In one of the bathrooms the toilet is not screwed to the floor which almost led to an unusual comedy sketch. It does mean that the toilet has no seal allowing the smell from the sewer to emulate.The other bathroom has a broken showerhead and broken shower door. The washing machine was also broken but Jose replaced it.The outside areas is lovely with a nice pool and mountain views. The plastic furniture could do with being updated. There were 7 sunloungers and some Table/chairs for 2 dining setups. We went as a family of 3. I can't recommend a group of 8 people as advertised. The other property (Casa Roque) was being used by a family 5.All in all we had a pleasant stay for 4 nights making the most of what the accommodation and area had to offer. Thanks Jose
