Finca Horno de la Teja

Esta acogedora villa está muy bien situado en uno de los valles más bellos de Gran Canaria. Muy privado y es ideal para familias y grupos grandes.
La casa pose de 5 dormitorios y 4 baños, hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar para la persona 11 y 12.
Podrá relajarse en el jardín con la piscina grande (8 x 4 m), coste adicional por calentar la piscina € 200,- la semana. En el bar / cocina al aire libre hay una verdadera horno de piedra, y por supuesto una barbacoa.
La villa tiene un gran terreno donde crecen todo tipo de frutas, tales como, de mango, naranjas, limones, papaya, etc .. Hermoso entorno con muchas posibilidades de senderismo. El encantador pueblo de Puerto de Mogán está a sólo 10 minutos.

Stunning location, very comfortable and clean house

This was in many ways one of the best villas I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in lots!). The communication before travel and upon arrival was exceptional. The villa was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious (we were a group of 4 celebrating a major birthday) with a lovely pool and an extremely well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen, all in amazing gardens and with stunning mountain views. Mogan has a good supermarket and it is a (rather twisty!) 15 minute drive down to the larger facilities of Puerto de Mogan. The only downside (and the reason that I have gone for 4 stars not 5) is the dogs. Now, I love dogs, have owned them all my life, and am sat looking at my furry friend as I type this. The near neighbours own dogs, that live in cages outdoors. They bark, more or less incessantly, ALL DAY - indeed I got up at 2am for a drink and they were still barking then - they are loud enough that even with the doors and windows shut you can hear them! It's like water torture. I nearly went mad at one point, and it meant that we ended up spending much less time at the villa than we would have liked. Such a shame.

Magnificent property

This was a beautiful location and we were very comfortable in the house. Each of the five bedrooms was pleasant and the furnishings were all of very high quality. It was a place that had space for everyone and was in a quiet countryside yet close to the charming port of Mogan. The only thing that could be improved upon is the pool heating in the winter months. We would return for sure if we had the opportunity!

Excellent family experience

We stayed at Finca Horno de la Teja for a week in early January, 5 adults and 3 kids/teens. Ilse was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests, and even let us delay our check-out. The house and property was spotless with plenty of space and well equipped. The pool was clean and nicely tempered (26-27 deg). At that time of year the sun reached us at 10:15 and disappeared about 18:30. There’s a 10ish minute drive down to the coast and Puerto Mogán. You do need a car to get around, but there are some nice local restaurants within walking distance (~2km), and a decently stocked grocery store in nearby Mogan. There are many nice (and steep) hiking options in the vicinity, an easy way to find them is through the “AllTrails” app. All in all highly recommended!

Maison très agréable , vaste , dans un environnement calme ( mis à part les aboiements de chiens à proximité ) , avec un beau terrain , salle à manger d' été avec four à pizza , et piscine . le tout dans un site naturel superbe !!!! .... et une hôtesse d' une très grande gentillesse qui nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux . SUPER!!!

Lovely mountain villa

We spent a lovely week at this villa. The drive from the airport is very easy with most of the journey being on the motorway with only the final part on a smaller road through the village of Mogan, which has some nice restaurants/small shops. Check-in was very easy and communication from the host, Ilse, was excellent, before, during and after our trip. The property is accessed by a steep, short road up to a large gate operated by key fob. The grounds are very big and filled with lemon, mango and avodcado trees that are great to walk around. The view from the villa is excellent, with the surrounding mountains providing lots of atmosphere. The villa itself is split into two self contained flats on two levels. We were two families that stayed in each flat but spent most of our time using the common/larger facilities in the upstairs apartment, which is very well equipped. The pool is heated and the pizza oven and bbq are very simple to use. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I would not hesitate to return.

Luxery house

We all loved the stay. The house was well maintained and the manager was a perfect contact. The pool was excellent and we used both the grill and the pizza oven. Perfect surroundnings not far from Mogan were we had dinner twice. We can revommend both restaurant Valle de Mogan and Canario del Oro.

Perfect house and location

Our family of six spent two weeks at Horno de la Teja, this included myself, wife and our daughter, her husband and two children age 11 and 8. This property is well maintained and situated in a very scenic area surrounded by mountains. The house is within walking distance of a pleasant small village of Mogan. From the house is a 10 minute drive to the beautiful town of Puerto Mogan, which has a nice beach, shops and restaurants. This house and property was perfect for our needs. It has three bedrooms in the main house with two full bathrooms and a well equiped kitchen. The lower level is a separate apartment with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and kitchen. This property was quite special. It was very well maintained and looked after by a gardener who came several times during our stay to look after the grounds and pool. We enjoyed picking fresh bananas and oranges from the many fruit trees on the property each morning. We used the pool every day. For an added cost we had the pool heated during our stay. The manager Ilse was very helpful and responsive to our needs. She met us at the house on our arrival and even brought us some basic groceries which was very much appreciated. We very much enjoyed our time here at this beautiful property and the Island of Gran Canaria, and would like to return again with family.

Perfekt für 2 Familien - empfehlenswert

Das Haus ist perfekt für 2 Familien, da es aus 2 Wohneinheiten besteht. In der Hauptwohnung gibt es 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer. In der unteren Wohnung gibt es 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer. 8 bis 10 Personen haben gut Platz. Auch die Küche bzw Küchen sind gut ausgestattet. Durch die 2 Wohnungen ist alles doppelt vorhanden: 2 Geschirrspüler, 2 Kühlschränke, 2 Waschmaschinen. Super auch die Aircondition in jedem Schlafzimmer und in den beiden Wohnzimmern. Super sind auch die Insektenschutzgitter und Gitter an den Fenstern, so dass man beruhigt mit geöffneten Fenstern schlafen kann. Das Poollicht und das Außenlicht gehen automatisch an und aus - sehr angenehm. Der Obstgarten ist sehenswert. Wir haben Bananen aus dem Garten gegessen - herrlich! Die Avocados und Mangos sind leider erst im November reif. Toll sind die vielen schattenspendenden Palmen um den Pool! Die Lage: Einzellage, rundherum Gebirge. Leicht hört man Straßenlärm, aber vor allem am Wochenende vereinzelt wegen den Motorrädern. Ist aber nicht störend. Kleiner Supermarkt ist 3 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Shoppen (auch Spar und Dino Markt) und Essen kann man gut im Hafen von Mogan. Ist ca. 13 Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Wir wurden sehr nett mit einem großen Trinkwasserkanister und einer Flasche Rotwein von Ilse empfangen.

Nice secluded location

Very nice house, plenty of space for two families. Three bedroom upstairs. Two bedrooms downstairs. You need to go out of the house and around it to get from one floor to the next. Pool was rather cold in October, only used for a short dip. Location 8 km from beach, which makes it very quiet and no neighbours. Temperatures was a bit cooler than on the beach. Overall very nice place.

Gewoon fantastisch met een adembenemend uitzicht over de vallei!

Wij waren te gast van 7 tot 14 april in dit prachtige huis. Ons gezelschap bestond uit 4 kinderen tussen 7 en 11 en zes volwassenen. Ondanks dat we pas heel laat aankwamen werden we toch netjes opgevangen en ook de laatste dag mochten we, omdat we pas om 21u vertrokken, het huis vrij gebruiken. Het huis is heel netjes en praktisch ingericht. Eigenlijk is er alles wat je nodig hebt tot zelfs een wasmachine. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit en het beddengoed voelt luxueus aan. Het zwembad was heel schoon en op onze vraag een weekje langer verwarmd (wat eigenlijk is deze periode van het jaar nog net wel nodig is) De tuin is prachtig aangelegd en prima onderhouden door de tuinman die low profile af en toe komt sproeien en het zwembad nakijken. Ilse is altijd snel bereikbaar en ook de voorbereiding op onze reis verliep vlot en correct. Het enige kleine minpuntje zou kunnen zijn dat er net iets te weinig warm water is. Dus als je met zijn 10'en op hetzelfde moment uitgebreid doucht heeft de laatste geen echt "heet" water meer maar zelfs een "koukleum" als ik kon dan nog gemakkelijk verder douchen want echt koud wordt het niet. Even spreiden of wat minder lang douchen lost dit op. Het was één van de zaligste vakanties die ik heb gehad en dat van die zonnigste vallei klopt. Als je 's morgens om 6 u uit het venster kijkt denk je "oei" maar tegen dat je opstaat is het helemaal uitgeklaard. Het uitzicht is dan ook adembenemend. Je hebt wel een auto nodig want de dichtstbijzijnde bakker is in Mogan, een paar kilometer naar beneden. In Puerto Mogan is er een grote supermarkt (DINO) en daar kan je natuurlijk ook afbakbroodjes kopen want de oven in het huis is superschoon en werkt goed. Kortom heb je iets te vieren met de familie (zoals ik ;-) ) is dit een perfecte plek!!

Erholsamer wunderschöner Urlaub

Schönes und sehr ruhig gelegenes Haus mit genug Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Weitläufiges sauber angelegtes Grundstück mit tollem Ausblick in die Berge. Ein Mietauto ist Pflicht! Zusammenfassend sehr empfehlenswert.

Quite simply an oasis!

We booked for 10 days at the start of August 2017. This was the first time to the island and we were looking for a relaxing private retreat to explore Gran Canaria from. We certainly found it! The accommodation, facilities and location were exceptional. The scenery is spectacular and it certainly lives up to the description of a "sunny valley". The images on the website really do not do this location justice, its just stunning! Although the weather was very hot there is enough sunny and shaded areas in the property to suit all needs, and of course the lovely pool is always a great option! My teenage kids (17 and 13) certainly found loads to do, from sun bathing, exploring the hills, the pool, BBQ and making pizza in the outdoor oven. This was the perfect holiday in the perfect location. A special thanks to those that looked after us while we stayed at the property, nothing was too much trouble, always friendly and it made for a super relaxing time. As soon as we got back home we were planning our next visit!!!!!
