Great getaway!

Upon arrival they told me to come back in 30 minutes because my room was not ready, I came back and there was a very long line and I had to wait 30 minutes .I was pleased to get a room on the day of my visit, they were booked up. The view of the ocean from the second floor was good. If there was a path from the hotel to the ocean I did not find it and it would have been helpful rather than walking on the Dusty Sandy Street with cars driving by. The food was appreciated. However being gluten free there was fruit available one day and not the next. The pre-made miniature omelets looked fresh and warm However, I do not eat pre-made packaged food because of all the added ingredients . The carpet on the stairs was quite dirty, Overall I had a very nice stay. And I would stay there again.

The Lighthouse Inn was perfect for a few nights we were there. We had an ocean front, 2 queen bed. It was 2 adults & a toddler. Everyone was able to enjoy! The toddler loved the pool and the adults enjoyed how close the ocean waves were. The hotel is simple. The room was nice and large. Everyone had enough space. Only thing that was tricky was the WiFi. But also could be the area that wasn’t great either.

they room and view was perfect except for being on the third floor and not the 4th. unfortunately. the person or people that were above me got up at 6:00 a.m. And it woke me up everyday. and they were not lightwalkers. The fireplace remote wasn't working. probably needed a new battery. I was surprised the staff wouldn't check that before somebody checks in. and I would just make a suggestion to have two people at the front desk at 4:00. it took me about a half an hour to get checked in cuz the line was pretty long. other than those things it was really nice. I loved the view and I definitely will be back. however, I will be asking for the 4th floor so I can get a good night's sleep.

I loved my room, which had a large Jacuzzi and fabulous view of the dunes and beach. The hotel staff were very good as well. The pool was small and constantly full of loud children, and there were a few minor cleanliness issues in the room. Overall this was a good stay and a good value as I stayed Sun-Tues. Location is fantastic as well with easy walk to a boardwalk through the dunes and the beach itself, and fairly close to the center of town.

Wish the restaurant was open. Breakfast was ok lots of choices. Wish they would have told me (when I asked about water) that I could fill my water bottle in the dining room instead of spending freaking 4 dollars for a bottle of water in the vending machine. Decent place to stay even tho it was a little pricey. Over 400 for 2 nights.

No bacon or eggs for breakfast. Grandkids were very disappointed. They liked the toys that were provided in the pool. Very thoughtful.

Excellent view. Love the observatory. Wish there was AC. too hot in the room! Might have been ok if they had a fan to use, but they said no. Uncomfortable to be in the room. Check in took a long time.Alice could've used some help around 5-6pm, but she was nice.

Old and tired. Serious need of a remodel. Staff is pretty friendly , location is good . Parking is ample.
