"An excellent location, easy for the bus to Dubrovnik and a short walk to Lapad along side the sea. The facilities are really good with a choice of swimming pools and a health club. The staff are brilliant , friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Multiple restaurants to choose from within the hotels at the location, wide range of options at reasonable prices, good value all round. Music at night. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Great hotel but flawed. The hotel is lovely and in a fabulous location. The reception and wait staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms well maintained and serviced daily if you wish - they have small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Shower pressure is strong!! No family rooms so need to book 2 interconnecting rooms which is fabulous for space but hikes holiday cost right up Unfortunately they are about 100 sun-loungers short to be able to accommodate all resident of the complex - 2 hotels and small villas/apartments. Not allowed to lie your towel on grass and when you speak to pool staff they couldn't care less. I was directed to beach but would need to pay€10 for a bed and €8 for a parasol on their private beach or go to indoor pool to lie- this is different to previous Maistra hotels i have stayed in. The restaurant breakfast is nice - plenty choice and again tea/coffee/water/fruit juice. Half board evening meal is ok- nothing spectacular but does not include any type of drink but they do offer a full bar at an additional fee. They have a couple of other restaurants on site but again not included with your package- all come with own charge. Game room is great- PS5/Switch 2/some racing game. Pool and table tennis. 3 small local/independent places on promenade otherwise its all Maistra owned. It's not an easy walk into the small town so they very much have you! Can get the boat to Dubrovnik for €15 return just along from hotel or other way into Cavatat."
