We booked it based on the marketing photos with anticipation we’d be in the bread and breakfast. The old hotel and that breakfast would be included. Upon checking in, we were shown our room in a motel in between the two older buildings. And breakfast was not included. The front service was unclear and terse if not just a little bit rude. I’d be leery of staying there, even though the town was fantastic. It was not the value reflected in the price.

Very nice property, comfortable stay. The hotel and dining room staff were very good. Our one critical comment is about cleanliness in the dining room - utensils and glasses could have been more carefully vetted. Not the biggest deal, but more attention to detail required there.

Wonderful Historic Inn

Wonderful historic inn in a picturesque college town with iconic covered wooden bridges nearby. Great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Book beautifully furnished room in the main building (not the annex) and enjoy a drink sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. Highly recommend this awesome hotel.
