Wonderful old house.

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles. Breakfast was simply outstanding — the most delicious we had during our entire trip in France. Fresh, generous, and clearly prepared with care. If you’re looking for a great base to explore the Loire Valley, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay again and recommend it without hesitation to anyone wanting a memorable and comfortable stay in this beautiful region.

Ganz besonders passendes Ambiente in kleinem Hotel.
