Peace on Earth
Merxheim is quiet and ideal if you are looking for a restful holiday with excellent hosts in Yvan and Brigitte. A short journey in any direction brings you to charming old world villages/towns. In addition Mulhouse is close and well worth a visit: car museum, zoo, railway museum. Cross the border to Germany or Switzerland to soak up neighbouring culture and compare the differences in the Countries. We thoroughly recommend the cottage to you and hope you find it, and the area, as charming as we did.

Helles und gemütliches Einzimmer-Häuschen mit Terrasse. Gelegen in Merxheim, in einem kleinen elsässischen Dorf mit Bahnanschluss - in 15 min ist man mit dem Nahverkehrszug in Colmar, in dem sogar Fahrräder mitgenommen werden können. Von Merxheim aus kann man Fahrradtouren entlang der "Route des Vins" (Weinstraße) durch die umliegenden Dörfer unternehmen. Ich kann die Unterkunft empfehlen - es fehlt an nichts und bei Fragen kann man sich an die sehr freundlichen und zugewandten Vermieter wenden.
