Great little hotel in Merida. Well located, a little walk from the plaza Grande. Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants. The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street. AC was working very well, WIFI was good too. You can start your day with a nice coffee made by the owner, and a croissant or some sort of viennoiserie. Of course it is not a 4 stars hotel, so don't expect the look or services of a 4 stars hotel. But if the price is in your range, you cannot go wrong with La Piazetta. Thanks for a very nice stay in Merida!

Gezellig hotel! Familiaal: de gastheer geeft je het gevoel van thuiskomen. Hij is erg behulpzaam met tips en om al je vragen te beantwoorden! Een oase van rust tussen planten en katten. Het hotel is mooi gedecoreerd! ‘s Morgens wordt je verwend met koffie, vers sap en een lekkere koek. De kamers zijn mooi en comfortabel. Een echte aanrader!!!

It’s really, really nice place, I think the hotel I liked the most in our whole Yucatán trip! With a lot of character, plants, very nice decoration. Also the family running the hotel is very, very helpful, told us very good places to eat, visit, change money, etc. And is very close to the center - 5-10 min walking. I really recommend this place!

EXCELENTE SERVICIO!! Me quedaría sin duda alguna de nuevo en este hotel cuando regrese a Mérida, la atención de todos fue estupenda y te hacen sentir como en casa. La habitación que nos tocó era muy amplia y se ve que estaba prácticamente nueva, la decoración y detalles te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en un SPA. Mil gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia un bello recuerdo.
