The village candy

Cozy house located in the heart of the village of Meria between sea and mountains.
This accommodation is ideal for lovers of authentic Corsica with its 4 beds in two bedrooms with a sea view and a village.

It is composed of two double beds, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with Italian shower and separate wc, a dressing room.
In front of the house a large unfenced terrace with teak table, large parasol, barbecue and light for the evening to relax, have a drink and have meals. The place is very authentic and is not to be shared with the neighboring house.

Facilities: air-conditioned master bedroom, TV, iPhone dock, dishwasher and washing machine, fully equipped kitchen and set of pétanque balls.
Parking in the public car park located 150m from the house.

You will be 2.5 km from the beach and its hut and 6 km from the port of Macinaggio with all its shops and market.
The village is supplied twice a week with fruit, vegetables and groceries and 3 times by the baker.
For hiking enthusiasts, different walks starting from the village with passage on the other side of Cape Corsica, from Macinaggio the customs trail along the coast.

For children a play area under the olive trees near the illuminated boules fields is available. They can easily mix with the other children of the village or play near the house and also in the small streets because the vehicles do not circulate in the village.

Beach towels are provided, the set of sheets for 4, bath towels and cleaning are optional, you will only have to wash them before your departure.
The cleaning lady will intervene between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Séjour agréable mais attention à votre descriptif

Attention !! Le descriptif du logement ne correspond pas toujours à la réalité. La douche, fermée par une porte, n'est pas une douche italienne comme indiqué dans le descriptif de la location. Les toilettes sont bien séparées et non isolées (trÚs chaud l'été) mais il faut passer par la salle de bain pour y accéder. L'arrivée et le départ ont été autonomes pour notre part, la femme de ménage devant nous accueillir n'était pas présente à notre arrivée comme il avait été convenu avec elle. Sinon, les serviettes de toilette et de plage ne sont pas inclus dans le prix du ménage comme indiqué dans la description du logement. La literie de la chambre avec la climatisation serait à changer, on ressent les ressorts du matelas et mal au dos le matin en se levant. Sinon, le logement est agréable, les voisins sympathiques ainsi que le village qui est entouré par la montagne avec un point de vue sur la mer !

Une maison aussi charmante que fonctionnelle dans un trĂšs beau village authentique, trĂšs calme et dont les habitants nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Charme et douceur en fin d'été

Jolie maison et trÚs bon séjour

Le « bonbon du village » porte trĂšs bien son nom. Cette maison de famille est authentique, vivante et trĂšs charmante (meublĂ©e et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t) Elle est confortable. L’espace extĂ©rieur est agrĂ©able Ă©galement avec, cependant, un lĂ©ger vis Ă  vis depuis les balcons terrasses des 2 maisons qui le surplombent et il se situe devant l’entrĂ©e de la maison le long de la ruelle. L’endroit reste pour autant calme et paisible. Les voisins sympathiques et accueillants. On se sent vite comme chez soi dans la maison et au village. Le petit village de Meria est adorable et photogĂ©nique avec ses jolies maisons , ces petites ruelles et ses bougainvilliers en fleurs. Les points de vue sur la nature environnante et sur la mer invitent Ă  la sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© et au repos. L’ambiance est familiale au village tout comme sur la plage en contre bas. Nos enfants ont adorĂ© les parties de cache-Cache et de foot avec les enfants du village. Depuis Meria nous avons pu dĂ©couvrir de nombreuses merveilles du Cap.

Jolie petite maison de village, trop exposĂ©e aux bruits du voisinage (tĂ©lĂ©vision, prise de parole Ă  voix forte) ainsi qu'au passage des piĂ©tons devant une terrasse qui n'a rien de privĂ©e. A wonderful spot in a wonderful part of Corsica. The house is great and I particularly appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked. 10 minute drive from the beach and 15 minutes from the next village. Lack of wifi was a small drawback but may be a benefit for some! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Nous venons de quitter Meria. Quinze jours de vacances dans un joli village perchĂ© Ă  partir duquel nous avons visitĂ© tout le Cap Corse. La maison a une vraie Ăąme et ne ressemble en rien aux locations habituelles rĂ©servĂ©es aux touristes Nous avons eu l’impression de sĂ©journer dans notre maison de famille. Tout y est Rien ne manque Un vrai dĂ©paysement pour cette qui recherche du calme et la beautĂ© de la Corse sans sa horde de touristes Nous conseillons vivement ! petit havre de paix dans le cap Corse

Quel plaisir et bonheur de rĂ©sider une semaine dans ce village. Nous aimions dĂ©jĂ  beaucoup le cap Corse et bien nous l'aimons encore plus. Le gite est trĂšs confortable et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© et il a une Ăąme! On s'y sent trĂšs bien.Peut-ĂȘtre rajouter 2 chaises longues ? La marine de MĂ©ria est authentique et on se sent invitĂ©. Le gite est idĂ©alement situĂ© pour visiter, arpenter le cap que ce soit baignades, randonnĂ©es, visites, restaurants, sorties en bateau, dĂ©gustation de vins.... Nous avons beaucoup aimĂ© l'ambiance du village Ă  notre retour chaque jour. Merci Fabio de partager votre maison familiale. Nous aurions dĂ» rester plus longtemps mais nous avions envie de dĂ©couvrir d'autres rĂ©gions de l'Ăźle de beautĂ©.

Charmante maison au milieu d'un village typique de corse.

La maison reste chaude car il y a un toit terrasse au dessus du salon et d'une chambre (climatisĂ©e) , la cuisine et l'autre chambre dispose d'un toit "classique" ce qui les abrite des fortes tempĂ©rature. Il manque une terrasse , mĂȘme si celle proposĂ©e devant la maison permet d'y manger. la proximitĂ© d'une autre terrasse( maison mitoyenne) suppose qu'en saison pleine il faut partager cet espace (nous y Ă©tions en juin et le village Ă©tait pratiquement vide). Si non maison bine Ă©quipĂ©e pour un sĂ©jour de vacances.

Beautiful and quiet home!

We spend two weeks in this beautiful home and it was just perfect. It has everything we needed, is beautifully furnished and the small kitchens equippement leaves no questions. It is situated in an small and quiet mountain-village, with very friendly people. Down to the beach its only a few minutes drive. The water was cristal clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Also the little retaurant is recommandable, very friendly staff. The whole family enjoyed the stay! We hope, that it will be like this next year, when we come back!
