Stayed twin suite with 3 people. Had to ask for extra pillows and gown as only stocked for 2 guests and only 2 chairs at dining table: Spa jets not working on bath. Comfortable beds and pillows. TVs not able to stream from phone unless Samsung phone.

I absolute can`t stand shower`s over the bath and yes it was a spa bath for one person, but I would have liked a shower for two and saved the water from the bath. But the room was very comfortable and I will be booking in for other occasions when staying I Melbourne

Overall stay was fine as location was good. However…, Food orders take too long. Previous occupants dishes were still in the room. Beds are too small and not all that comfortable. Pillow menu requires extra $. Breakfast was plentiful and staff at breakfast were attentive.

The hotel itself is great, but a little dated. The front reception staff are terrible, very unhelpful and useless. We originally booked a two night stay and then added an additional night. At check in the reception staff could not link the bookings and insisted we would need to check out at 11 and check in at again at 2pm, despite there being rooms of the same type vacant for the three days. And when asked why, he stated it is because the other rooms are set up for a couple. He must not have seen my husband waiting with the bags. Thankfully the reception staff in the morning could fix, but it made for an unpleasant and unnecessarily stressful check in experience.

The service of the Stamford is not great. We are still waiting for a pillow that was ordered over a week ago. The hotel while the pool areas is great and warm the rest of the Stamford I found lacking. Older building and furniture ripped or just very used. having to put deposits down on everything we needed like extra pillows to an excessive room bond, but the biggest let down was the front of house staff, they are the face of a business and whilst not everyone was rude they were not friendly. The housekeeping staff we great though.

The reception staff were great with my grandchildren, the room was pretty good, could do with a bit oh tlc, the beds were very comfortable, the only problem we found was the restaurant staff were rude and very unattractive so we had room service and the food was average, the kids didn’t eat any but the chips.

Location is great - shopping, theatre, food! Wifi signal poor - had to use a hotspot. Some mould around the edge of the shower Waited 3 hours for towels. Overall good but missing a few things that took away from the quality of the experience.
