The Property in itself is great, excellent facilities. its located in a good spot all depends on what you are looking to see overall. Main issue which would have left a lot of people upset is that there was only one lift working which meant there were delays in exiting your level (up to 30 minutes) and no alternative exit plan offered. There were people setting off fire exits at all hours of the day in frustration of wanting to make their way out. it supposed to have been a relaxing stay however it was overshadowed with thoughts of having to go through this inconvenience in for the duration of our time at the Stamford.

Husband and I stayed two nights for the NBA/ NBL. Perfect location for what we needed, where we needed to be. Trams on Collins and 2 minute walk down to trams for Rod Laver Arena. Bourke Street Mall not too far either, location was excellent. Service was great, staff very friendly. For us, the room was perfect. We had bedroom suite, exactly the space we needed. Would definitely staycation here again.

Room clean and nice and quiet. Main entrance of hotel a bit grubby. Glass doors need a good clean. Second lift not working and long waits for the lift at certain times of the day.
