Reasonable hotel
The hotel is very nicely done and good facilities. Just lacked the level of service for the price. No food after 9.30pm, bar closed at 10pm although they started closing it at 9.30pm. Breakfast coffee machine broken, took ages to get eggs, forgot coffee order. Just a lot of reminding for things you'd asked for.

Great hotel in an easy location walking distance from Southern Cross. Transport options close by making it easy to explore Melbourne. We had a great stay - the hotel is lovely, very modern, the rooms well appointed, clean and recent furnished. Great shower and bathroom. Wish we had more time to use the pool and gym. The old school games in the foyer were a fun touch!

Nice enough hotel, but expected a little better from Dorsett. Room was only serviced once for a three night stay. Bathroom had a bad drain smell. Hotel bar closed early and no options for late night food / drink. No mini bar despite having a fridge and wine glasses in-room. Bed was very hard and pillows uncomfortable. But it was a brand new hotel and overall nicely appointed. The gym was very good, and the pool area nice.
