Washing machine and Dryer not cleaned. Dishwasher dirty anc looked broken. Bathroom walls not clean around toilet area. Only 1 blanket in the 1Bed unit which has a pullout sofa for extra person. Tiny bowls, cups, plates and limited cutlery.

Walls are plaster thin so it’s very noisy. Broken lamp shades and shabby furniture. Hair in the shower and rubbish on the carpet. Breakfast was depressing so we skipped it. Very tired and not well maintained or cleaned. Don’t bother.

Loved the 2 room/ apartment. It didn't have a kitchen, but breakfast was included. Unfortunately, cups and glasses in the cupboard were not clean but they gave us 2 bottles of water to make amends.

SERVED ITS PURPOSE I was in Melbourne on a business trip, seeing customers in the Forest Hill area. The Canterbury Hotel was as described / appropriately priced / and quite comfortable for a 2 night stay. Spacious bathroom. Quieter than I thought it would be. Good WiFi. Easy parking. Aircon is old and clunky. Bed wasn't the softest. TV is quite small. Desk chairs are horribly uncomfortable. It's not The Ritz. But they don't price as though it is either...
