The only thing I don't like about this hotel is the noise.. especially the rooms with city views. The sound of traffic, trams..cars trains as we re just opposite southern cross station... throughout the first nigh, it is absolutely our mightmare. As we were staying for three nights after the first night the staff was very accommodating and changed our room to the back... though we didn't have city view, we indeed had a very very good sleep then. The hotel is nice.old and nice . Perhaps the owner can consider changing the rooms with city.view to double glazed windows to muffled the street traffic noise . Other than this...we like everything..buffet breakfast was sufficient.. Good small range. Tq again

This is my fourth time staying in this hotel, it's in a central location and on two of the main tram lines that get you to where you are going. It's also directly across the road from Southern Cross Station and the Sky Bus depot. I stayed in the premiere suite this trip and you should know that this room comes in different sizes. I was given the option to check in at 8.30am but the room was tiny. I went back and said I'd be happy to wait for a 2pm check out and was then given a full size room. To know the difference you want to make sure you are given the premiere suite with the bathtub.

The property is a little quirky in two buildings that it seems are a little different than each other. Having to walk up stairs and get a lift or change lifts with a walk along a corridor in between to get to the room was interesting.

Parking was a muck up. Despite phoning before I arrived to ascertain that my vehicle would better in the secure parking around the corner (for which the hotel had a deal) and indicating upon arrival I was parked there I was not offered the discount voucher/code etc. Parking cost me $120 rather than the $40. When I raised the issue after getting home the manager could only offer membership of Accor Club (or whatever it is called)wit some form of points added in rather than a return of $80. As I am very rarely near an Accor hotel this is very unsatisfactory. The room: The room was adequate, however the hot water took nearly 10 minutes to arrive in either the sink or the shower (I timed it).

The beds were well worn. The beds in the “main room”, were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The single bed dipped into the middle. Otherwise it was clean, and the staff were pleasant.

The place is well located and clean, but it was the smallest room my wife and I have ever stayed in. Nowhere to put your case let alone carry on, where you didn’t have to squeeze past it or try and step over it. Very disappointing compared to what we saw in the photos for the rooms.
