Great home base

We loved our stay in Medora, as well as Theodore Roosevelt National Park! This property was our home base for some amazing adventures. It was the perfect amount of space for our extended family of a grandparent, parent, and two kids.

Perfect family accommodations

The property was perfect for my 3 grown children, my.4 grandchildren, and myself. It was very roomy inside and had a nice outdoor space. It is within walking distance of .Medora. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family of 10 got together to celebrate Moms 95th. The 2 adjoining condos on the first level were perfect as we could open the 2 doors & move between the two spaces. Nice large tables for us to play cards around. And we really enjoyed the backyard space for cocktail times with enough chairs for all of us! Great place & within walking distance of the town. We recommend!

Wonderful memories made as 14 of us gathered to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our kids and grandkids! Plenty of room for all in this well equipped rental. Great Location

Clean and cool when we checked in. This location is perfect if you’re looking for something close to the attractions but away from the busy foot traffic. They were responsive and very willing to accommodate us! We enjoyed our time at the Badlands Suite and Medora. There is so much to see! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Great location and excellent place to stay!

We were very happy with our stay. Family of 6 and there was plenty of room for us. Very clean, excellent communication with the property manager and so close to everything in Medora. We loved that we were so close to the park entrance and that there were plenty of other things to do so close by! We really liked that there was also an area outside for grilling and sitting outside. It was great having the extra space when we were not out exploring and enjoying family time. Lots of great info provided to help with planning our day trips too.

Comfortable!

As represented on line. With just a two night stay we hadn't planned to make use of the kitchen except for the refrigerator and counter tops but it was well "outfitted" for those who do. Did enjoy the spaciousness of the living room with seating options and coffee and end tables. Comfortable bedrooms. The multiple hooks in the bathroom are very useful. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Medora!

The biggest disappointment is that nowhere did the owner tell us that this was a basement unit. As a result the windows were high and all you saw out of the windows was the ground outside which was not attractive. The living room furniture was old and you sunk into the couch. Would strongly recommend that the owner point out to any future tenant that it is a below ground unit with a unit above.

Disappointed

The Badlands Suite looked just like it did in the photos and was very clean. We had a problem with Directv and the property manager came over right away and fixed it, which was very nice. However, we were very surprised when we arrived at the property and it was in the basement, i.e., a basement apartment-not a walk-out basement, but a typical, dark basement. There is no mention of it being a basement apartment in the listing on VRBO. If we knew it was a basement property, we wouldn't have booked it. In addition, there is no mention in the listing on VRBO that you have to put your towels in the washing machine before you leave and text the property manager the day before you leave to let them know what time you're leaving. Sometimes, we don't know on the day before the exact time that we're leaving, so we just gave them the checkout time. We wouldn't have rented the property if we had known about these additional requirements. As mentioned previously, the property was very clean and the property manager was extremely helpful, but the listing on VRBO should reflect that the rental is a basement apartment and list out the requirements for guests renting the unit.

This unit was clean and cozy. We are older and have special diets so we cooked our meals and we were impressed with the well equipped kitchen and the nice grill area. Plenty of space for two couples.

The interior of the property was exactly as pictured. We expected a porch/deck, but were in a "garden" apartment, so no luck there. We did have a small outdoor seating area, and a nice grill for our use. Location was nicely central, but not scenic.
