The hotel itself is very good, very clean and reasonable. The service is pretty poor, you have to asked to be served a drink etc. The “high street” itself is run down… areas like Margaux are beautiful

The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely.
