"I am always afraid to arrive late and not have my room held, but we checked in at 11pm with no problems. The desk clerk was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for the pull out bed, before we left the counter. The room was very clean, towels were soft, the bed was comfy, and the tub was clean. We had the king suite, and amazingly, it was well sound proofed between the bedroom and living space. There was a tv and fridge in both rooms. I was really surprised at how well appointed the two separate spaces were. As a whole, our room, the interior and exterior of the hotel, was all very quiet. The included breakfast was actually quite nice. There were lots of hot options like biscuits, sausage gravy, roasted breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and I think waffles too. There were several cereal options, muffins, breads, bagels, several juice selections, and coffee options. But our favorite thing was the fancy espresso machine, that had a plethora of options for different flavored lattes, cappuccinos, and hot chocolates. The parking lot was well lit, and we easily found a space, despite the late check in and them being sold out. We didn’t use the gym, but people were in there, and it appeared to be well maintained and had several pieces of equipment. We stayed here, after a ballgame in Tuscaloosa. Every hotel in that area had terrible reviews, so we opted to drive the 50 miles outside of town. SO glad we did!"
