We reserved 3 rooms One of our rooms had not been cleaned The second room had stains on the sheets Third room had bugs There was trash strewn along the back wall of the building The place was disgusting. We immediately canceled and went elsewhere

Disappointing

We were staying there as we had a death in the family and with added expenses needed to cut back on hotel. Refrigerator didn't cool down, no ironing board, elevator didn't work in the mornings, ice machine was jammed, parking lot dirty, room was less than clean but I know you get what you pay for.

Not very nice

The guy at the desk was very rude. Continental breakfast was not good. Room was pretty clean.

Great staff nasty smell

The staff were friendly and prompt but for the price per night definitely not worth it! The room was quite nasty with a very horrible aroma throughout the facility the bathroom was gross trim coming off with what looked to be black mold. I wouldn't waste my time or money to stay there again.

MOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
MY WIFE AND I CELEBRATED OUR 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN MCHENRY, AND LOVED THE SERVICE OF ALL THE STAFF AT THE SUPER 8, THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE BEDS WERE AS RELAXING AS AT HOME. THE ROOM SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND DELICIOUS. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Save your money, stay away. There is nothing positive I can say about this hotel, it should be condemned.

you know something is wrong when the "general manager" tell the people checking in ahead of you "we are a non-smoking hotel but you can smoke if you don't open the door when you have a cigarette lit." Really, that would be nice if that is all he said. When I asked to move rooms due to smoke smell and uncleanliness he told me no. I asked for a refund and he again said no. I state that I did not feel safe with my small child and he said "what do you think you are going to get killed here." Aboslutley unacceptable, I turned around, walked out and will be seeking a refund thru the franchise. I later learned the reputation is aweful in the surrounding area, multiple violations and citations have been cited. Do NOT stay here!
