A rejuvenating Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed at Fern Haven as a calm getaway after the craziness of our wedding. This place was gorgeous and intimate, all the details made it so cozy and comfortable. We loved the view of the yard through the large windows, the warm fireplace, and clean kitchen where we cooked meals together. We are already chatting about coming back and staying here again when we need a break from city life and want to spend time gazing at the stars. Kevin is a fantastic host! We had a lovely time.

Love Fern Haven

This is our second time in three years staying at Fern Haven. We love the modern simplicity yet cozy feel the cabin has to offer. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the on-site trail. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The surrounding area is beautiful and a scenic drive to local hiking, attractions, restaurants and shops. Fern Haven is the perfect place for a restful getaway. Looking forward to our next stay!

The cabin was perfect! If you're looking for a beautiful and tranquil property this it! The owner has thought of every detail. The wall of windows was my favorite and the restaurant recommendations were spot on! The owner was so helpful and responsive! We'll be back!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I got away for a couple days after our wedding and we LOVED it! It was so clean, quiet, safe and cozy! We had everything we needed to make a great steak dinner and relax! 10/10! 100% recommend!!

Cozy getaway

Cozy secluded house with all the amenities. Would recommend as the hot tub and fire pit were just what my husband and I needed as we enjoyed a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. Also recommend the Sauna Pods at The Chalets about 20 mins away.

Cute and cozy

Our stay was wonderful! It was cute and cozy! We enjoyed spending time on the deck and in the hot tub! The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere both inside and outside. We would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what we expected

My wife and I wanted a small secluded cabin for a nice honeymoon getaway, and that's exactly what Fern Haven provided! The cabin was spotless. The host communicated incredibly well with a few follow-up questions we had and was always polite and kind!

Perfect getaway

This was exactly what we were hoping for as a weekend away. The communication was excellent with recommendations given for activities. Access was easy and the property was well maintained and clean. We would definitely consider staying again when we're looking to stay in the Hocking Hills area.

Charming Cabin

This is such a romantic little place for two. Nice and quiet and private. Between the fireplace, the hot tub, and the walking trails, it’s a great way to relax, unwind, and have fun without ever leaving there. The wraparound porch up on a ravine was very dreamy even in the winter. We kept all the window blinds up and enjoyed a woodsy view from every part of the cabin. There are other cabins on the property but they’re separated by trees, so you still get a very secluded feel- which we absolutely loved. I had a couple questions and the host, Kevin, was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything, we look forward to coming back!

We stayed here a year ago in January. And now we've done it again! Why...because it really is excellent in every way advertised. 5-stars all around. Kevin, the host, was very helpful in all our communications. Will we do it again...that's the plan.

Great cabin!

Great cabin, clean and close to nearby attractions. Wife loved the dishwasher!! And I believe they had city water!! Or a filter, no egg/sulfur smell and tasted fine, other cabins we’ve stayed at had well water, we for sure will return!
