Strange interaction Post-stay
Bruno was a great host during the stay and the manager was easily accessible. Good stay.
On checkout, I personally walked around the property with the cleaning lady, who agreed with me everything was great -I saw nothing out of order or any problems. She also relayed this to the property manager on checkout when we cleared the account. However, Bruno contacted me a week later to say the cleaning lady found the place in terrible shape (not knowing that I’d walked through with her?) and she has to spend two extra days cleaning, and cutting the extra charge she cost him. That wasn’t in line with what we saw or what she said at any point.
Bruno’s people were great to us while we were there, so I didn’t report him to vrbo and assumed this fishing for extra payments was perhaps a normal part of renting in Senegal?
In any case, the property is great, location is great, and the property manager is very helpful!
