Great spot on the ocean

Nice condo units right on the ocean. Excellent kitchen utensils but bare bones condiments, just coffee, sugar , salt and pepper.Nice location at the north end of Maui, we took the bus to Lahaine, but lots of restaurants nearby. No beach but access to walk to the beach next door. Great swimming pool, decent size and lots of friendly people.

Expansive and then they smack you with PARKING fee

It was raining and cold so we were inside a lot. The wind blows hard through the hotel and with the balcony door closed the windows HOWL all night. Also, they charge a small fortune for the privilege of parking in their parking lot and the notice prior is just fine print. This should be TOTAL DISCLOSURE prior to booking this expensive property.

The staff is very friendly, courteous, personable and attentive. The units are always clean and fresh. There is a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the room. Complementary coffee served in the lobby every morning along side a purified water dispenser. Amazing ocean view and swimming pool to view sunsets from. Did I mention how GREAT the staff is?! They not only assigned us the floor we requested, they put us in the same room as our previous stay!! They remembered my wife and I and it was like catching up with old friends and family. We could have stayed at another property at a lower cost but we paid up a little to stay at the Royal Kahana! No ka oi…the very best!

Perfect stay for my family of 5. Felt like home for us. The condition of property is older but well kept. The room we got was great had everything we needed. I Would like to mention the front desk is closed by 7pm. So for those coming in late, you will have to follow instructions left out for you at the desk. It was not difficult to get ahold of someone to get access to our room. We would stay here again.

Good stay!

I liked our stay. It was clean and next to the beach. There is good amount of shopping nearby so explore the area beforehand. Food trucks are located close as well. There is walking path thru sandbags to the beach etc rather than walking thru the street to the beach. Turtles come and sleep at the beach. Whales can be seen from the shore.

Excellent place to stay

The room was well designed with a great view of the ocean. It had cooking facility and excellent for a linger stay. The rooms have mirrors which helps with light view and makes the room bigger. The rooms also had a washer dryer and together made our stay comfortable and enjoyable
