Stayed in a non- smoking room. It seems the room may have previously allowed smoking as there was a residual smell. Extremely friendly staff and great breakfast. Right next to the station.

Maybe is language issue, but had front desk staff to book restaurant & to call me once done, but staff didn’t do it, when I return to front desk the staff gone off duty without passing message to next shift staff. Fortunately popular restaurant had a table when I had next shift staff to book.

Nice in Matsumoto

Great location right across from the train station. Room was quiet. Loved having a grocery store. There were not a whole lot of restaurants near the hotel, but it was a good place to stay.

Nice basic hotel

This hotel is nice and close to the station, so it was an easy walk with suitcases. The decor was quite dated, but the room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bikes held onsite for guests were very convenient - we went for the electric option which incurred a hire fee, but the manual bikes were free to borrow. As the town is flat having bikes was great for sightseeing (the castle was a very easy ride from the hotel.)

The hotel is near the train station about 5 mins walk. The room is a bit small but it's okay. Staffs are nice but they can't speak english properly.

Convenient hotel right in the middle of everything

Hotel was very close to the station, as well as several department stores and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, which was perfect for us.

Great location with great service.

Hotel was in a great location with many shops and restaurants around. It was also right next to the main bus terminal which was convenient as well. They also provide a free onsen ticket at a different site. You should definitely take advantage of that. There are shuttles that take you there. Downside is the parking. If you have a van, you need to park at a different site. Also I felt that the room was a bit expensive for the size.
