No damage from Hurricane Beryl, we are ready for you to book by the beach.
This cozy one bedroom house is just across the street from the dune path to the beach. Come enjoy a peaceful get away as you sit on the deck and watch the sunrise or the ocean while listening to the waves crash on the beach. This entire home features a basic kitchen with a vintage oven. The home also features a picnic table under the house for shaded eating. Enjoy the hammock and the porch swing under the house as well. Two sleeper sofas offer the ability for 2 more queen beds.

My partner & I had a great vacation in Matagorda with our two dogs and we really enjoyed the rental. We were able to cook all of our own meals in the kitchen and we really enjoyed that. Only word of advice is to bring bug spray because the mosquitos are vicious! But we loved the beach and how nearby it was.

Father's Day trip

This place was perfect for our trip. The beach was a short walk and not crammed with people. Ice machine even close by, that was a plus. Everything was as listed and we brought our side x side/utv which was perfect for the longer beach explorations. The house was really comfy and equipped with what we needed. Being able to bring our dog that didnt have to weigh under 50lbs was awesome! He loved the beach runs and laying out on the deck. Thank your for sharing your home!

Lovely Beach Getaway

I enjoyed this sweet little beach house with my two golden retrievers. We had a lovely time! The house was comfortable and the walk to the beach was not bad! We ended up driving onto the beach because it was easier with the dogs. This little house was just perfect!!

Quiet, awesome little beach house

We drove down to Matagorda for a little getaway at the beach and the house was perfect! It is at the end of the street and very quiet - easy access to the beach on a trail through the sand dunes. We will definitely be back 😀

The owner was very communicative, and we love this property! The house was well furnished and stocked, and exactly what we wanted near the beach. There is a very short walk, and we walked over several times we will definitely be back! I did need to communicate a few times with the owner and he immediately got right back with me. Excellent stay!
