An ideal aparthotel for a family

This has been the best aparthotel for us. The apartment was spacious and ideally located, with a shopping mall just across the road where you could get all groceries from the superstore and also has Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dominos. The hotel staff was amazing, and contrary to other reviews we had no issues with check in. My only gripe is lack of a microwave and toaster in the kitchen; the latter are really essential in a kitchen.

Nice Apartment, some rooms are not so accommodating to charge anything as ther are no sockets , unless you unplug the Tv. I will say the staffs makes the experience great. Lovely receptionist especially (Amal) made things easy and had great recommendations of place to visit and was very helpful .

Checked us in early which was good. Room smelled strongly of chlorine. The interior of the rooms and furnishings are very dated. Walls were dirty. No soap in toilet. No washing facility in toilet.

Amazing staff

The staff at palm appart are amazing, especially the manager slim, they made our stay memorable and if we do goi back to Marrakech, we will definitely be staying there. The manager made us feel at home and helped us so much with transport and gave us a lot of info about Marrakech, I cannot recommend them enough!! Absolutely amazing!

Marakech palm apartment in Morocco

The place was great and a lots of space with 2 balconies. The pool was awesome with no issues. Plan to bring food and drinks because there is none at the apartment and you have to go out or go next door to get it. Overall nice, clean and quiet place!

Quite hotel but no room cleaning

Hotel looks great from outside, opposite a mall and one of the best nightclubs behind (club 555). Hotel manager Slim and reception staff very friendly and helpful However the hotel services were rubbish. There's no daily clean and the cleaners take the towels in the morning around 11am without replacing them and after speaking with the cleaners and reception 5 times they give it (around 4hours after they take it). Happen to us all three days of the stay. The hotel pool was not switched on so we had to use the neighbour hotel pool. There's no mat for the bathroom so we used a towel. Because we put the towel on the bathroom floor we got charged 100Dhs and the manager was reluctant to waive this even though he knew the situation with the towels. There's also no amneties in the room such as shampoo or soap

Absolute disrespect for foreign travellers

Our trip started off with the receptionist trying to extort us extra when we were in the check in process, they then realized that we were Arabic speakers and did not want to charge us the extra which they were claiming from the start, the price advised on here will be considerably different to what they want to charge you. They will not let you check in until all payments have not been made, they will also charge you city tax which should be included on her but they will add this onto the total. The accommodation was then served with rude and arrogant staff from security and receptionists to thieving cleaners. One word for this accommodation is disgraceful. If you are from the UK and have 3 apartments here between 6 people which could sleep 5 in each room will not allow you to bring friends over, they will disrespect your guests and forcefully escort them out of the building. Day staff will advise one thing and night staff will be the opposite. while you are advised no guest allowed, you will see guests that are locals being checked in and an hour later they are discussing its okay to bring guests over with the this not being a problem. The third time we stayed here we thought it was great at 1st however this time they were not the same staff and was a complete embarrassment. Will not recommend this place to anyone unless you would like to be extorted and disrespected by the staff here. Just to finish up, they tried charging city tax again at the check out which we refused!!

Good location. the apartment was big and spacious but we reached at night and no toilet rolls and soap or hand-wash was provided. We had to rush to nearby carrefour to get the basic necessities. There was no hairdryer and no option to rent the out. No option to rent iron either! The kitchen had basic plates and glasses and a frying pan. No electric kettle or microwave! We were provided fresh towels daily but the room wasn't cleaned as we were told it will be cleaned on alternate days. On the 3rd day we had to remind them for cleaning and it was cleaned on the 4th day (toilets didn't look like they were cleaned though). We had breakfast at the palm plaza hotel next door, however we found the breakfast was too expensive. Overall the hotel ambience and outdoors was very good.

Good apparyment hotel in excellent location. However we were badly let down by a room above a shisha resturnat whicj played lod mysic until 2am making it imposible to sleep until it stopped. The place has big room but could do with some refreshing and find a solutoon to this load resturant or restict the loud music to be not played after11pm atleast to leave some preace for rooms above

Ok but not British 4 star standards

Hotel is in a great location for tourist. Mall opposite with plenty of amenities. Hotel is ok but ruff around the edges. Needs some electrical work done. Most plug sockets didn’t work and we’re hanging off the wall. Some with exposed wires! I am a late riser but my room wasn’t cleaned once for the week I was out there. Maids left some clean towels three times. Room was very cold and the air con didn’t blow hot air even though I had it in 30 degrees Celsius. No fridge in room so couldn’t keep drinks or food cold. One night woke up thirsty , went to the front desk to ask for room service or a bar and was told I would have to go to another hotel to get a drink. There wasn’t even water on site. My traveling companion couldn’t make the trip but I was told I would still have to pay there city tax even though they were not in the country. I travel all over the world and have stayed in all types of hotels. This hotel needs a expert to come and rectify all the problems addressed.

Simple but honest review.

Stayed for 3 nights for work. Initially thought I booked a hotel room and was surprised that I had booked a full apartment for myself. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Air-conditioned. Huge bed. Huge swimming pool in the compound as well, garden very well-maintianed. Literally across a mall, convenient for supermarket shopping or lunch/dinner.

It is not really a hotel

We were there only for one night during an overnight lay-out during a flight back from France to the US. We arrived very late in the evening. Travelling with 3 young kids, we were disapointed by the time it took us to check-in. But the fact there was no crib available at all for the baby and no soap provided in the room was the real issue. It looks more like some kind of long stay hotel than the regular one we needed.

Nice pool

Nice big pool and massive room. We had the 2 bed superior apartment. Fully aircon and pool view balconies. Good size kitchen and English channels on the tv too. Opposite al mazar shopping mall which has Burger King, Pizza Hut and domino pizza. Only drawback is no wifi in the room.
