I booked two rooms, and neither had hot water. In one of them, the shower didn’t work at all. When I reported the issue, I was told there was no technician available. They offered to move us to rooms that were quite far from ours, but we were traveling with five people, including a 77-year-old grandmother and a 6-year-old child, and we had to head to the airport soon to catch our flight. It was a stressful situation.
I requested a partial refund, but they refused. Later, around noon, the manager called to ask whether we had checked out—even though we had already left the rooms around 8 AM and returned the keys. He was already aware of the problems because Hotels.com had contacted him, yet he didn’t acknowledge any of the issues we experienced.
In my opinion, if you don’t encounter any problems, your stay will probably be fine. But if something goes wrong… well, they’re terrible at handling it.
