We absolutely loved our stay at the Mancos Hideaway. We were so close to Mesa Verde which is what brought us to the area. The house is HUGE so we had plenty of room to spread out with 7 adults. We also enjoyed grilling and stargazing, and just taking in the wonderful views all around the property. We would definitely stay again!

Great Stay!

Everything from the bedding to the huge variety of games stocked in the cupboards was wonderful. Host was responsive and helpful and the location was perfect for our visit to Mesa Verde National Park.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home and amazing location. I would definitely recommend to use this lovely home as a base for your travels in the four corners area. Hists were warm ans welcoming.

Fantastic location! The house was the perfect place for a centralized place to sleep while visiting all the local sights. The owners were fantastic to work with and very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Great stay!

This is probably the nicest property we have ever stayed at. Everything was so comfortable, especially the beds. There were nice notes everywhere giving you helpful info about the house etc. Highly recommend!

The house was very spacious and worked well for the 12 of us, as well as a good stocked kitchen. The kids loved being outside and exploring. Great views and a short drive to Mesa Verde. Unfortunately, we were visiting at the beginning of the Government shutdown so parts of the various parks we visited were closed. We were still able to see a lot and the views did not disappoint! Absolutely loved riding the steam train from Durango to Silverton!

One of the best family trips!

We had an amazing stay in Mancos! The house was perfect for our two families. Sitting out on the deck in the morning and the evenings was such a treat. The location was great being right outside the park. Not only did we enjoy MesaVerde tours, but we also did some evening hiking to watch the sunset on top of a mesa. There are great mountain biking trails near by that are a lot of fun too. Over all an amazing trip!!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great lay-out!!!

We will definitely stay again. Home has a great layout, bed and bath locations are great! Made our stay very comfortable. This home has amazing views and it's nicely appointed. The host was pleasant and very responsive!!! You won't be disappointed, great location easy to get around to all the local attractions.

Wildlife Viewing Amazing

This home and property are gorgeous. We were able to see 4th of July fireworks from the deck, wild birds, deer and small animals. It was heaven on Earth for us. Jen was lovely and very responsive to any questions or needs. We would definitely return.

Perfect Family Retreat

If you are looking for the perfect location for your family adventure...look no further. This beautiful home is centrally located to so many beautiful places such as, mesa verde, four corners, arches national park, and Durango. This home became our retreat for our family as we visited numerous parks. We all loved the gorgeous views and there was plenty of space for my whole family of five. Moreover, our family had so many laughs over the pop the pig game. We cant thank you enough for sharing your wonderful home with our family!

EPIC Vacation !

This VRBO was perfect in every way. The large windows of the house look out over wilderness and mountains which were just beautiful with snow. The house itself was well-stocked, the beds comfy, the layout perfect, the games (for kids and adults) much appreciated, and the hosts WONDERFUL. As an added bonus we had our own sled ridding hill right outside our door! And if you want to explore the area the home is perfectly located right by Mesa Verde with several unique Southwest Colorado towns and hiking areas to explore nearby. We WILL be back!

Location! Location! Location! We had early morning Ranger-guided tours thru the dwellings which are at least 45 minutes from the park entrance. This property is only a few miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde NP, so was easy to time our arrival. And while that was super convenient, it was not the best part of the property. The views from anywhere on the property were stunning - Point Lookout during sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! We enjoyed morning coffees on the deck, as well as evening cocktails under the stars!The spacious home was clean, kitchen was well-appointed, and bedrooms/beds were comfortable. The hosts provided pertinent information throughout the house so any questions we might have had were anticipated by them and were answered for us!We were only 6 adults and this home would have easily been comfortable for many more. Truly a perfect stay for us!

Mancos Hideaway

This trip was a family get-away to celebrate our grandson's high school graduation. This property was perfect regarding location to many activities, such as the National Park (Mesa Verde) and Durango for white water rafting. The house was spacious, comfortable and had all the needed amenities. The host, while living in the same home, were available when needed, but not seen :-). The property is isolated, meaning no noisy or intrusive neighbors or other urban distractions! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped and large deck (patio) overlooked the valley.

Mesa Verde

If your destination is Mesa Verde this the place to stay!! They can accommodate large families comfortably with spacious bedrooms, large living area, fully equipped kitchen and views to die for. There are also outdoor toys like volleyball and tether all!! Jen was very cordial, welcoming and responsive. The property is only about 3 miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park; about a 15-20 minute drive to the Canyon of the Ancients Visitors Center, and about an hour from 4 Corners National Monument!! The town of Cortez is only about 10 minutes away where there are grocery stores and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it!!
