The hotel was good but we went in the middle of the heat wave and the room we had the air conditioning didn’t work. So we reported it and someone tried to sort it but I don’t think they could get it to work. They sent a engineer out 2 times.reception tried there best to sort it out.

Lovely hotel and was upgraded at check in to a suite. Unfortunately the aircon and fridge were both broken and the master cable of the TV not plugged in, meaning we initially couldnt get the TV to work. We called maintenance to have the aircon fixed as it was incredibly hot (and windows nailed down. despite coming and saying they would come back when we were out, they didnt. We had an uncomfortable night sleep as it was unbearably hot.

It was a good price when booked for a graduation. However, surprised that rooms were only allocated on arrival, meaning my party was separated. The shower is adequate but not great. Massive light pollution from the corridor due to the gap under the door. All minor things but slightly disappointing for a hotel of The Midlands status.

We booked a room with 2 double beds but when we arrived the Air conditioning was not working. After complaining, they gave us two double rooms and 2 free drinks at no extra cost. All the rooms that we got we’re comfortable and well maintained.

We had a great one night stay (not our first or last) clean spacious room, great spa & really nice friendly polite knowledgeable staff. Particularly Litia on reception who checked us in & was most helpful in advising us to get NCP app where we could get a discounted price for parking overnight. What a bright, friendly, professional young lady she is. A credit to the staff at the hotel!

Superb hotel but some bedrooms are noisy

Rooms on street over looking tram were not for me I have stayed at the midland many times and the first time that my stay was not satisfactory Low rooms Tram side of hotel Are very noisy and I was woke up by the loud squeaks and running of the tram cars Room 222 When I stay again I will ask for a higher room and away from the trams Hotel overall is amazing hence I always stay here and the vibe of the hotel - the quality and the staff is superb
