Our trip included Paris, Rouen,. Normandy, St. Malo, Rennes and Nantes. This property was definitely the worst hotel of our trip. Run down property, outdated, no elevator, uninformative, and staff was remarkably unresponsive. We were not informed upfront that weI needed a code to access the property. The staff said they expected our call to inform us. Mercure apparently does not care about its reputation. This is unacceptable and will not stay at Mercure ever again. Negative impression, stale property and the staff simply does not care.

My wife and I really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Mercure in late July. The hotel was clean and had a great breakfast in the nearby restaurant. The best feature was the location. It's near the causeway leading to Mont Saint Michel, which is easily reachable by shuttle and walking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of an elevator/lift, which made carrying luggage to our room difficult (we were on the second floor).

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. We took a family room which was spacious and clean and exceptionally quiet. The location is great in order to visit Mont St Michel, either to walk or take one of the many local bus options.

Disappointing stay

This hotel was great for the position as it was very near to Mont Saint Michel there were a few areas we were unhappy with no water in room, there were netflix and amazon on the tv but could not use these as the internet was not strong enough, ai did go and ask about this and they advised it did not work, i would not return to this hotel

The Best Hotel Within Walking Distance to Mont Saint Michel! We had a fantastic experience at Mercure Mont Saint Michel. It’s the nicest hotel you can find within walking distance of the Mont—comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. The scenic path to Mont Saint Michel is just minutes away, and the free shuttle stops right in front of the hotel for added convenience. The room was quiet and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. One of our family members accidentally left their iPad behind, and the hotel staff quickly returned it to the front desk and assisted us in retrieving it—even though we were already all the way in Alsace. Their honesty and support truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mont Saint Michel who wants comfort, convenience, and excellent service!
