Beautiful condo in an unbeatable location! Our stay was amazing. The place was spotless and had everything we needed and more, it’s a beautiful, relaxing, and very comfortable space. You truly cannot beat the location; it made getting around incredibly easy. The host was very informative and always available, which made the stay even better. Would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome place!

Top notch experience! Spotless condo with key ingredients which made our family so happy. Super comfortable family room, huge television and even a pac man for everyone to play. Instructions for everything were super simple. The best part of the accommodations was the convenience to the gondola. Literally right out the door.

Don’t miss out this amazing well appointed unit. Super comfy beds, updated and in great condition. Jason our host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this again. This condo has everything you would want and more. My kids especially loved the boot and glove dryers. Thank for sharing your unit:)

Great Place / Location / Comfy

Had a great stay. Location was super convenient and walkable to village and everything. Host was very good to communicate with and gave great "local" recommendations and discount ideas. Parking was super easy too. Place appears to be basically brand new post remodel. I would stay again. Thanks.

This is my 2nd time staying at Basecamp. My first stay was really amazing, but since that first stay a couple of years ago, this place has really upgraded! Love all the new furniture. I appreciate the effort that the host Jason puts into ensuring we have a seamless, relaxing place to get some rest and hang out after my group hits the slopes. Looking forward to staying here again in the future :)

This place rocks!

All about location. Walk to the gondola and walk to all restaurants! This townhouse is immaculate and feels brand new. Top notch appliances and the gas fireplace offers a very warm environment. All the bedrooms and family room are extremely comfortable for families. . We used the hot tub daily which was very convenient after a long day of skiing. No need to use your car once you arrive. We did not want to leave. If you want a ski in and ski out this is the place to be. We already booked another week in the spring. Best of the best!

Our new favorite place in Mammoth!

Wow! This is the perfect place to stay in Mammoth. Newly remodeled, incredibly spacious and steps away from the village, Gondola, rentals and ticket sales. We never had to get in our car once we parked. I have stayed in places that “sleep 10” and it has always been very cramped but this was definately not the case in this unit. And four bathrooms with four showers was pure luxury. We loved all of the extra fun amenities- video games, foosball and plenty of games to choose from. Ample seating areas were perfect for dining, playing games and snuggling around the tv for a movie night. The owner, Jason, was super helpful and responsive. We can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Magical Mammoth

I’m so picky and this place is absolute perfection. Three levels which gives privacy for two families with a second level for hanging, cooking and playing games. The kitchen is killer. Fully decked out with everything you could need. The location and parking is supreme. Literally right to the gondola and village. The only thing to consider is the stairs throughout are not meant for the elderly. Book it. Don’t think about it. Modern and marvellous.

AMAZING LOCATION and Beautiful decor

Stayed here with my family of 4 (son 12, dgtr 16), was ample space - could have easily accommodated double the amount of ppl. The proximity to The Village is Great, a 3 minute walk and you are in the heart of The Village, restaurants, shops, bars, etc. There was a music festival the weekend we were there, free in the Village, it was fun and very good bands. Also loved the garage that we had access to, not much driving needed though as everything is so close/walkable. It was obvious the whole place was just redone - the condition of everything was pristine, beautiful and well thought out. Plenty of utensils, plates, etc - we made good use of the electric fryer the day after the kids ordered pizza (from Village Pizza, walkable and delicious) as a quick leftover for a snack. We loved renting electric mountain bikes and doing the Lake Loop (not sure of actual name), also hiked to Devil's Postpile and Rainbow Falls - highly recommend, the bike rental and hike. The bagel place - walkable, was great and I'll also will do a shout out to The Warming Hut, a short drive, for breakfast. Expected a lot from this rental and it surpassed expectations. Can't wait to go back in the winter and stay here - their is a ski lift right out of The Village so will be super convenient.

Fantastic base for the family ski-trip to Mammoth

Loved this condo, in fact, would love to buy it as my permanent Mammoth base. Village location is great, only 2 minute walk to village gondola, and similar walk to all Village shops and restaurants. Condo was probably the best I’ve ever rented through VRBO (in over 20 years of using VRBO). First off, very recently updated so everything is very new. Beautiful modern look, spacious main level which was very conducive to cooking and socializing. Kitchen appliances, utensils, etc., all very top notch and nothing missing. Plentiful video games and board games kept everyone entertained when not skiing. Layout was perfect for our family. Three kids shared the top-floor room which has three beds. Wife and I had the master on the bottom floor, and mother-in-law took the third room on bottom floor. The four full bathrooms were immaculate, and had lots of towels. Beds were super comfy, with soft sheets, which made getting up in the morning quite difficult. Owners thought of literally everything, including the little things, like (1) a space heater under the hall-way bench, which was great for drying ski-boots and clothes after a long-day on the slopes, (2) device charging stations in the rooms with plugs for a variety of devices, (3) lots of hooks to hang clothes and helmets (especially liked the little hooks under the stairs which were perfect for the helmets), and (4) nightlights that came on automatically at the stairs when you walked by. Loved it and will be back!

Fantastic Retreat in the Mountains

We were afforded the opportunity to stay here for 3 nights and 4 days with my extended family of 5 adults a 5 children (age 5-15 years). The host was extremely responsive and accomodating of any requests. The place was extremely clean and in top condition given the recent renovation of the entire unit. The place itself is spread over 3 floors. On the lowest level are 2 comfortably sized bedrooms and medium sized bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and one of the bedrooms has an attached balcony overlooking part of the village. On the middle floor is the living room and kitchen with large counter and seating. The foosball table was a huge hit with the kids and there is another balcony on this level. Couches were large and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals in the unit without any problems. There is another full bathroom on this level. Going up to the highest level is the largest bedroom with additional stairs leading up to two more beds. Our kids had a great time switching back and forth between beds. There are also windows looking out of the bedroom and down to the living room couches. This bedroom has another full bathroom. Overall the place is as advertised with fantastic covered parking and walking distance to shops/food in the village. It's a 5-7 minute drive to the main mammoth lodge, 30 minutes to Devils postpile, 15 minutes to Convict Lake. We definitely look forward to staying here again in the future. If you're on the fence, don't think about it and just book the place. It was totally worth it.

Ideal location; Recently Updated; Responsive Host; Highly Recommend!!

A quick and easy walk to the Village (even in ski boots) makes this an ideal location - skiing, dining and shops are all literally footsteps away. Other than shuttle from airport, the only time we needed the bus or taxi was for a quick trip to Vons (grocery). The interior is all updated/modern and was very clean. Comfortable beds and seating arrangements. Our host was awesome. Reached out ahead of arrival with lots of information, answered questions and was quick to respond to questions during our stay too. I would highly recommend!!
