This was one of the better hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help answer any questions. It is in a great area with a bunch of restaurants and activities within walking distance. The pool is large and there are a lot of seats available for guests. There is a small gym which is pretty hard to find so I would ask someone for help. We went to the rooftop bar most nights which was great, just be prepared to spend a lot more on cocktails than you would at most of the other bars in the area. There were a bunch of tiny ants in our room but other than that it was very clean.

Palace-like exterior and interior. Lovely breakfast included, tablecloth, personalized service. We did have an issue with our partially canceled reservations and getting reimbursement. We mistakenly booked 2 days for the wrong days, cancelled immediately, yet were not approved for a refund without a huge battle. Expedia convinced them after a few weeks since we were staying there this night and certainly clients of theirs to take care of. This created a bad feeling and we changed our plan to return to stay there longer when we returned to Malaga for the last 3 days before returning home.

Everything about this hotel is perfection! From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the service was impeccable and friendly. We stayed for five nights and explored other areas of Malaga, but spent a little time at the hotel pool which is very relaxing and beautifully designed. Highly recommend!

We traveled through many cities in Spain and stayed at several hotels, but Gran Hotel Miramar was by far the best. The staff were professional across the board, and our stay was truly lovely. The only downside was the café on the ground floor — the food was quite ordinary, yet the prices were surprisingly high. Fortunately, the hotel’s central location offers easy access to countless nearby restaurants serving exceptional cuisine. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa, especially the massages, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful Hotel in Malaga. Attention to detail and treat you like a rockstar. The hotel was the destination for us. They even let us order a salad from the restaurant after the kitchen closed. Amazing customer service. I really wanted a salad. 😂

Andalusian vacation

Nice Andalusian style hotel with great beach location and close to the historic center of Malaga. The only disappointment was food. Room service food quality was astonishingly subpar for a hotel of this scale.
