Home for the holidays

We enjoyed our visit and will probably be returning for next Thanksgiving. Although Makanda is somewhat remote and little to talk about, it was an easy drive to town and we enjoyed the quiet and feeling of privy.

Spectacular Getaway place!!

Our stay was exceptional, host great, cottage more than we expected, kitchen well stocked, great central location with a lot to do (wineries, breweries, nice eateries, shopping, farm stands, orchards, hiking sight seeing. Great Cabin!

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was cute and cozy, perfect for my husband and me. There is a nice deck to star gaze or sit in the sunshine. Steve, our host, went above and beyond helping us with the TV as we like to relax in the evening while watching sports. This is a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!
