Safe, convenient, comfortable hotel

We called the hotel the day before arrival to inform them of a late arrival and requested a 1st floor room. I called again on the day of to confirm the 1st floor room and to let them know that we would be arriving later than expected. The front desk staff was very kind and assured me that they would have the requested room available. When we arrived (after midnight), the staff was very nice and checked us in quickly. The area was well-lit, clean, and felt very safe. The room was clean and beds were more comfortable than expected. Throughout our stay, we took enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with the owner even offering to make more food (they were out of some items due to us going towards the end of the breakfast service). In summary: clean and well-lit exterior, safe, good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!

Everything was great, other than breakfast. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The eggs at breakfast were extremely dried out and strung out. Never offered any fresh food, but when another group came in, he served them fresh eggs on their plate at the table. Would I stay there again? Yes, I would but would not plan on breakfast.

We went down for breakfast that was included. 2 old sausage links and 3 1 inch squares of egg? The front desk was in view of breakfast area yet the front desk person made no attempt to restock breakfast bar.

Motel is on a large concrete slab. Extremely hot. Pool area blazing hot, burns your feet, no shade, no rails for getting in/out of the water, no lounge chairs or areas to place towels, keys, etc. Only seating is concrete benches. Breakfast was skimpy and unappealing. TV interrupted frequently. Staff was mostly pleasant. Room cleaning was good.
