It was nice how the house keepers came in every day to make the bed and clean when it was not even necessary. They gave soap and towels everyday and shampoo to use.

It was close to Bar Harbor and the Island Express stopped there if you wanted to take the free bus to town or Acadia. The motel its self was a little dated and our room didn’t have a view but did come with a stale smell. It was a little larger than most rooms though and had everything we needed. The beds weren’t the greatest though. The bar/lounge is dated but did have an amazing view. The restaurant on property was only open for breakfast. For the price, it was comparable.

The view of the sunrise over the harbor was amazing. The room was very comfortable. Plenty of room. Clean. Loved the balcony to watch the sunrise. Was even blessed with by the wildlife.

Comfy room with a view!

We stayed in the Ocean View building, and the view was amazing! Walkable to downtown Bar Harbor (a bit of a walk, but past a lot of amazing homes and a few historic things). We really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was on the upper floor in the Ocean View building and the view was wonderful. Parking was easy and the Island Explorer stopped at a nearby building regularly. (We toyed with catching the bus at the neighboring Hampton Inn, which might be even closer.) We walked into Bar Harbor several times. We didn't try the restaurants on the Wonder View/Blue Nose property. We also didn't visit the gym or the pools. The gift shop in the Blue Nose is very nice as were the staff we encountered throughout our stay. Our only complaint was with the water temperature in our shower. It fluctuated wildly during a shower, which could be chilling or scorching without warning.

Large room with a nice balcony overlooking the trees. There was a shuttle to Bar Harbor Center. Good entertainment in the evening with an excellent piano player . Beautiful area convenient bus shuttle to Bar Harbor Center

Not much Wonder, not much View.

Well they say location is everything. And that’s the best thing going here. It is out of the main part of town and easy to access the NP from. The room was old. Is was clean! Just old. New fiberglass tile walls glued up over old 70’s yellow tile. The hardware store special deal for a sink base combo was installed but the same faucet was put right back on. The pictures online did not matched what we had. The large size and cleanliness would easily be worth a $150 a night stay, but certainly not a $250 per night. All we saw out our window was a big tree.

Nice big room with 2 king beds which is great because we are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Friendly staff, an awesome view and walkable to town. My only negative comment is that the bathroom is a bit dated. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Old looking motel for $$$

I guess Bar Harbor is just expensive in July, but this place was disappointing. The building was old and run down. The room was small, humid and had a really old bathroom. It's close to Acadia and about a 15-20 minute walk to Bar Harbor, so the location was great. The piano player in the evenings was excellent.
