The grounds and staff were lovely. The lounge and bar were tidy but dated.the bedroom was awful. It was very dated, aging and drab. The bath and sink looked dirty. There were stains on bed and ?rubbish and hair bobble on floor. Part of the dressing table was carpeted! The bed was lovely. A kettle and coffee but no water. Door to garden broken hinges broken and glass of window smashed Definitely wouldn’t go again

Not my best stay as I was woken up in the middle of the night by a staff member who decided to some loud activities near my room. He apologised for that yet I was unable to fall asleep. Breakfast is horribly late so you can pay for it but you will not taste it.

Sadly not what we expected from a 4 star hotel. No room service or mini bar, dirty bed sheets and mouldy bathroom. Breakfast selection was very poor, no pastries left one hour before breakfast closed. No yogurt. Low quality sausage. The gardens were lovely and the bed was comfortable but apart from this very disappointing.

I slept well and i liked the fact you can open the back doors in your room to look out on the garden. Cons... the swimming pool was cold but the jacuzzi hot. Some hairdryers wasn't hot enough and it was abit of a pain you had to walk outside of the hotel to go into the pool. Parking was good and staff were lovely.

Wedding reception on the first night of our stay but it was quiet in reception area and the rooms. Dining was pleasant and breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Beautiful cherry blossom trees in the back with the sun room dining area looking out to them. Food is really good. Staff is really nice. Laundry services are a . If I were to visit again this is where I’d stay! (Need more signage to direct people when pulling off the road and onto the road you go on to get to it) It’s out of the city but still close enough. There’s a bakery close to it too! Would definitely recommend!!

ONE NIGHT

Friendly staff, food was ok. Dirty glasses in room, sticky surfaces, back door to garden area was wide open on arrival and didn’t shut properly allowing door smoke from garden area to filter in. Clock had not been reset to BST and so was showing time as an hour earlier - pretty significant if you are rising at 4 am. Evening meal was ok - took 45 minutes to get it though. Even place setting had cutlery in wrong place. Am I being fussy? Location is good for park and ride to airport but there are a lot of other good hotels in the area - I’ll not be back.
