Nice stay in Tech Terrace

Property was great but we were unaware until the day before our arrival that there was another tenant living in an apartment that was attached to the home we were renting. In the end we never saw the other renter but would have appreciated this information being noted in the listing for security reasons.

Water leak

Beautiful house!! Amazing beds!! When we got to the house we set up food on kitchen island for snacking and evening meal. Someone used up stairs bathroom and toilet flushed and was good then it filled up and water went all over the floor. We cleaned up the mess and flushed again with no problem. Later while sitting in the kitchen and dinning room talking and eating and tee noticed a leak in the kitchen over the island. We notified contact and she said she was on her way. 45 minutes later she called and said to put a bowl under it and she would call someone to come next day. Confused if it was my house I would be concerned. She was not and I can only think that this was not new. That she knew about it that’s why she was not alarmed. No one ever came and looked at it. Our food was ruined and we could not use up stairs bathroom for fear of a leak or worse. It was one of 2 full baths. Left us with one shower for 8 people.

First guests to stay at this property

We were the very first guests to stay here. There were definitely things that the new owners did not think about, but the property manager, Shelly, was very responsive. She came over at 10pm to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I would definitely stay at this property again. The house is adorable and has all new furniture. The beds were also very comfortable. The house is in walking distance to Texas Tech and is in a nice neighborhood.
