The location is great. The views from the deck are awesome. The host was very responsive and had a water issue resolved within 15 minutes. The issue is the accommodations. It wasn’t clean—lots of dead “insects”. The kitchen is not well stocked. Lighting was lacking as none of the lamps in the bedroom worked and figuring out the fan lighting was a bit of a challenge. The bathroom shower handle was difficult to turn. We were afraid if we turned it, it would snap off. We have rented unit A and found those accommodations very clean and well stocked with everything in working order. We understand that unit C is more rustic but at a minimum, it should have been clean and things should have been in working order. Nonetheless, I will give the host the benefit of the doubt. For example, perhaps the insects were due to the place not being rented in awhile, so perchance at one point, it had been cleaned. Also, the unit does jut out so it is much closer to the water which may invite more critters. Again, the host is very responsive.
