Close to Airport. Check in was easy and quick. Easy to get around. Nice swim area with swim up bar. Indoor lobby bar was good. All waiting staff was helpful and tended to our needs. Beautiful scenery including the ocean. Upon checking in I didn't like that we were asked to do a tour at a new hotel the following day which included a free breakfast. My hotel patio door was damaged. The food buffet could of had a better assortment of meals.

While this is one of the older properties in the area it is the one that has the charm and culture. It is also on the beach! A good value!

Pool area was nice, small nice was nice. Dining was very limited and mediocre. Resort overall felt tired and an overall layer of dirtiness, it needs a very deep cleaning* and an overhaul and renovation . Staff weren’t on top of keeping things clean. Bar menu needs to be kicked up a few notches, very limited selection for an all inclusive. No toilet seat on the men’s washroom was a total lack of attention and caring by management. We will not go back to this resort. This resort needs a major overall

The food was overall very good. There’s only one real restaurant that’s buffet style but all the options were really good. They have a food hut by the pool that had delicious options as well including ceviche and quesadillas that were fantastic.

The property is in a wonderful location staff sre really nice and helpful but the location needs a little maintenance and the jacuzzi needs go be fix and the rooms need some work also but place is ok kid friendly.

What we liked: small, low key, laid back, relaxed, beautiful beach, breakfast What we didn’t like: buffet at lunch and dinner is awful. Little variety in salads and meat choices. Dinner was definitely the worst. Desserts were not good at all. Got food poisoning the first night, and front desk couldn’t have cared less. They just shrugged it off. The bar area stinks and needs a solid cleaning if not a complete renovation. The rooms are clean but the decor hasn’t been updated since the nineties. Closet doors don’t move once they’re open that’s it. The tv cabinet doors don’t close properly Overall the resort needs a full renovation and the kitchen needs to pick up their game.

Overall, the stay was pretty good. But one of our two rooms—the one on the first floor—had lukewarm hot water, and even after we mentioned it to the front desk, it didn’t really get much better.

Staff are amazing, excellent costumer service, and very kind. Food option compare to 4 or 5 star are limited but what they serve is very homey and delicious!!!!. If you like home and traditional Mexican food, this is your place. We really enjoyed our stay. Bottled water complementary for the rooms and additional in the hallways. Definitely recommend and plan on coming back…
