This is a 3 star Mexican resort nestled along a string of very high end resorts. Location is good. Non swimmable beach and the pool was very cold, so if you are a water person, not great. Hot tub was often full of kids. Room was ok and spacious, but shower had poor pressure and sometimes not possible to have hot water. There was a sulphuric smell coming from the sink. Bed ok for me, but uncomfortable for a bigger person. Food was ok but the salads could be improved. Lots of mayonnaise, salami included and didn’t look fresh. Always appreciated soup. Breakfast was quite good- lots of papaya, cantaloupe and was traditional. My daughter loved it. Dinner was ok. Lots of choices. Construction next door was annoying at times. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall, a good vacation as long as you manage expectations.
