As always, this home is a great retreat for my family. Great location. Wonderful to be on the lake that has a small sand beach for the little ones to play. Available kayaks on property to use. Children have learned to fish and kayak. Great fun to watch them gain confidence

Beautiful scenery

Lakehouse was very comfortable for myself and my family. The kids were never bored. Between the sand, kayaks, trail, campfire and gamerooms….we were constantly busy doing some type of activity. Rachel was very accommodating and easy to be in touch with. Just a great weekend getaway that made so many memories!

Very roomy place and responsive owners, but in desperate need of updating

We came here for a family trip. The big plus of the property is its size - it comfortably sleeps 16 people and has a great location to Poconos attractions. We found the owner friendly and responsive. On the negative side, the place is dated and in need of a facelift (some rooms more than others, for instance the master bath was very nice). Some carpets had bleach stains. Blankets provided were old and felt dirty (sheets provided were clean). Beds were old and mattresses were just ok. Hot water did not work consistently. Considering the price the place was pretty good value but the pictures somewhat oversell the quality of the place.

My sisters and I had a wonderful time. There were 6 bedrooms. The house is old and is cut up funny but we were happy with the number of rooms. The most important part was the location. The house is in its own cul de sac surrounded by a lake. The most awesome views from every room. In the summer we would have been able to use the paddle boats as well as the canoes with life jackets. We hope to be able to use it again.

Great experience

Great location with lake. My kids love the boat riding and fire pit during night. It was bad due to the storm on our 2nd days. We couldn't go out and play. But overall, we love it and we wish do it again.

Best of both worlds.

Loved it. Peaceful and quiet. Private beach on the lake by day, and a fire pit fire out back at night. Plenty of room for all. Cannot wait to go back.

Great family getaway

Really enjoyed the beach lake front. It was great for the grandkids, swam everyday. Son inlaw enjoyed fishing. We all enjoyed kayaking. House was large enough to accommodate us. Would rent it again

Our summer vacation

The scenery was beautiful. We all enjoyed the private beach and the boats. It is an older house and we experienced a problems but the owner, Rachel, was very quick to get the problems fixed. The owners were definitely a big plus.

Womans Repeat Retreat

The house was spacious and sleeps 13 people comfortably. We had a little issue with the hot water but the Owner was very quick at getting things fix for us. Rachel was very pleasant to deal with. Just for future when a property is not rented for a while the Owners should check on it themselves because the cleaning crews and property managers is not always on top of things. The girls and I had a very nice time although we were unable to enjoy outside activities as usual. Thank you for allowing us to rent

Check-in was a breeze

The house was clean and organized. We mostly went skiing/snowboarding all day and only came back the house for relaxing and resting for the next day of same activities again. One minor thing though was that the hot water did take a long time to come on. In the first night, some of us actually took cold showers, by the second night it got better. Other than that it wasn't uneventful as it should be.
