This is a fantastic place to stay in so many respects. Its location right on the ocean creates idyllic views. The rooms are tastefully appointed and stocked to fulfill your most important needs. We lost a couple of items during our stay and the staff went out of their way to locate them for us. The spa has a serene environment. A special shout out to Tyler, Emily and especially Alejandro and Paul at the front desk. We love this place!

This is an amazing property surrounded by nature. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I would stay there again in a minute. I do wish they had a sauna and a bigger hot tub. (Hot tub was full of wedding guests when I visited.)

We truly loved our stay> The resort is gorgeous, as is the surrounding area. There are beautiful walks and a beach right at your doorstep. The rooms in the lodge are newly renovated and well equipped. Very nice! The restaurant and lounge were very nice, good offerings. We were disappointed the muscles were no longer on the menu though. The resort does have 2 hot tubs and a plunge pool, we had hoped to use however the water level in the tubs was very low ( just slightly above the jets ) so you were only waist deep in water. Not sure why it was low, maybe just the day we wanted to use it. Overall great stay and we will be back!

Absolutely dreamy resort! The staff were so, so lovely! The location is stunning. We had a rainforest view room but could still see and hear some of the ocean. We ate in the bar one night and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that they need more hot tubs or a second hot tub and pool area. They are small and crowded.

We stayed three nights in a one bedroom suite. The suite was spacious and had a small kitchenette with apartment size fridge, a small stove top, dishwasher and microwave/smart oven. The suite is newly renovated and the kitchen appliances were brand new. The washroom was huge and updated. We had an amazing view of the ocean. The pool area is tiny with a pool and 2 hot tubs. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good and the server was great. Would stay here again!

The check in process was smooth and the staff was friendly, but our room was not what we expected, and no fault to the hotel the guest above us had kids and were quite noisy running and stomping around early in the morning. Because we were on the ground floor and the pathway to the pool was in front of out windows ppl could clearly see in side of the living room and bedroom, even though there’s film on the window, I went out and did a test to see.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Black Rock. We love Ucluelet and Tofino and usually visit the area and camp. This was a nice way to change up our visit, and Black Rock was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend getaway.
