We had a fabulous stay here. We didn’t check in till very late but staff where there and waiting for us. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We ordered a takeaway one night and the staff gave us everything we needed to eat it in our room. Such lovely helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be back 😃

Clean and basic bedroom. Bathroom clean but screen not wide enough hence floor was very wet each time I took a shower and had to mop up. Breakfast was disappointing cause options was down to three and had to wait for eggs first morning and none the following day so checked out without breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and bar area. Good sized room with plenty of places for suitcases. Nice hanging closet and drawers as well as a desk area. Easy to walk to dining and attractions - great location! About 8 minutes from train and bus station.

The property was very nice very clean and great location. The side street outside was absolutely filthy with rubbish . We stayed friday night and Saturday night . Saturday morning breakfast had a lovely buffet for juice coffee toast & cereal. Sunday morning didnt. the staff member when asked said ah i will do everything fresh . But got the opinion he was just lazy to set it up. Saturday night had a private function in the bar area which was very very strange as all the comfortable seating area was blocked off . Bedroom was lovely and warm but bed was tiny . . Overall i was happy enough but to be honest dont know if i would return

Lovely stay for New Year - hotel central for all nearby pubs and entertainment , including local restaurants. Quiet nights sleep. Staff very accomodating especially the gentleman serving breakfast today alone - he coped so well .

nice, clean room, bathroom not the biggest but very clean and well maintained...breakfast was ok but probably not enough food (only 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg etc) or warm enough...slight criticism on the breakfast was our poached eggs were both overdone...we didn't complain because we were both starving !! Half price NCP car park was about 200yrds away or there was another car park directly across the road alot more pricy Having said all that it wouldn't stop me staying there again

Great city break

The staff were lovely, friendly & welcoming. We had an evening meal which was the steak deal, it was delicious & cooked perfectly to our liking. The breakfast the first morning was just the cooked option, didn’t know we could go up to help ourselves to cereal, toast & drinks. The 2nd morning it was a lot busier the member of staff informed us of the options & we saw where to go from other guests. We were on the 3rd floor & only single glazed windows but we slept well both nights considering we were in the city centre.

Central hotel

First time in this hotel- location is very central which is great but the downside is the noise at night from the numerous bars in the area. Double glazing is on the way which will help. The bar area is lovely and the cocktails delicious. Food was also very nice. All staff members that we met were friendly and efficient. Our room has been refurbished but the layout was a bit odd with tiny wardrobe space and no full length mirror. An iron and ironing board were available. Nice biscuits with the tea and coffee. Wasn’t keen on shower as there was no detachable hose and bathroom was a bit steamy/cold. Overall would stay again.
