Loved the Ropewalks! The hotel was clean with helpful staff and easily accessible from the train station and central Liverpool. I loved the space in the rooms and the on-site bar. The only disappointment was that after a long day there was no room service which would be my only negative.

The location is a double edged sword: right by Bold street and walkable to the water but the walls of the hotel are paper thin and the bars in the area will keep you up, especially on the weekends. Beyond outside noises, you can hear people talking in their rooms and the doors are super heavy and everyone was letting them slam at full force at all hours. Someone was also smoking in their room making the entire floor a hot box. It’s okay, you get what you pay for.
